I contacted ******* and this chains' headquarters with a complaint when I got home, cutting my stay in half.
The front desk clerk kept me waiting 10 minutes, guessing she was in the bathroom.
Got to the room, it was open and dirty, the sheets still on the bed. It took almost 30 minutes for the front desk to assign me to another room. Also, there was NO airconditioning working in the first room. It was NOT working, no matter what setting it was on. I decided to go to another hotel. The desk clerk stated she could not refund my check in early charge, although I waited for almost an HOUR for her to find a room that WAS empty and had working airconditining. It took a good other 30 minutes for the new room to cool. She claimed I had not notified her the room was not ready and the air was not working. Guess she thought it was someone else that was calling every 15 minutes. She topped it off by saying it was just too bad. Too bad ******* NOR the parent company bothered to contact me in ANY way. I will NOT stay there again when coming back to town.
