this pub/hotel is situated in a beautiful spot near Delph; there are easy to reach walks amidst the beautiful surrounding hills. Oldham is close and a bus stop is just few minutes away from the hotel. There is a light breakfast at no extra cost included in the room price.

Fabulous location with stunning views from room, friendly welcoming hosts. Plenty of parking. Clean and comfortable facilities and property full of character. Would definitely return without hesitation.

Stayed New Year’s Eve and even on New Years Day they were serving breakfast. Inclusive light breakfast of cereal and toast and tea/coffee and you could upgrade to full breakfast.
Lovely clean rooms and friendly staff.
Would stay again.

More sitting areas ,
Everything in the room are new and done to high standards
Recommend for families down to single people
Plenty to do in surrounding area

Fantastic stay, 2 nights, check in was easy, breakfast fantastic (cheap and proper ingredients) Attention to detail from Jasmine who checked me in and boxed the breakfast off. Hotel has super views and there’s a random Peacock knocking about. Would definitely stay again

Our first visit to this hotel and I must say for our budget (under £90 per night) it's one of the best hotels we have stayed in as a family.
Would loved to have tried an evening meal but there was a wedding function going on the night we stayed but that didn't fault our stay.
Bonus is the included light breakfast (tea, coffee, orange juice, toast, cereals etc) which was perfect for us although we could of upgraded to a full English for a small charge but as I've said we were more than happy with the lighter breakfast.
Hope to visit again if we are traveling in the area.

Very nice room, hotel is being done up so it’s difficult to say what it’s going to look like. The restaurant is a little bit tired and dated but the staff are really lovely and the food was good. My only criticism was that at breakfast. I wasn’t given a choice of what to have, and when I asked if I could order a cooked breakfast, the waitress went away and came back with a full English without giving me a choice of poached/fried eggs, whether I wanted hash browns and sausages, etc. also the evening menu, although the food was very good, I would have preferred a couple of slightly healthier options if possible.
