Hilton Garden Inn St. Augustine-Historic District

Our hotel stay was wonderful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Derek at the front desk was so helpful and accommodating. He gave us amazing food recommendations, tips for around town and checked in to see if we needed anything.

The bed was comfortable and room was spacious and clean. The parking lot filled up quickly, which wasn’t ideal. Very close to Hop On/Off trolley.

As a decades long Hilton Honors member who makes Hilton my exclusive choice for hotel stays, I was appalled by this stay. From the room not being ready until late afternoon, to the ampunt of noise, and the conditions of the property, I would never recommend this property to anyone. I paid extra for a balcony room. The noise of the road is one thing, but the staff allowing two people to check in leaving their car stereo's on right under my room was not right. The ice machine on the 3rd floor was literally 3 feet from my door. Let me tell you, people were using that machine until well after midnight. I plugged my phone into the night stand property only to find out that my phone didn't charge during the night. The drywall above the air conditioner was coming apart as well, indicating that this place needs some remodeling. This is without a doubt, the absolute worst stay I have ever had at a Hilton hotel. I would recommend elsewhere if anyone is considering a stay at this location.

Property is pretty new and looks it. Only downside was water temp for the shower/sink was warm and never got hot Desk said they were aware Very close the Fountain of Youth and the Old Jail attractions. Maybe 20 minute walk to St George St shopping area. Would stay here again

Hot water in sink and shower were room temperature. Staff unable to adjust temp, offered free parking as a courtesy for no hot water. Would never go back here again.

We enjoyed our stay at your hotel, my only complaint was the $15.00 a day parking. People pay a lot of money on their hotel rooms, food and attractions while on vacation and charging them additional money to park their car seems like a money grab especially since it’s self park. Most people traveling mid week are older and on a fixed income the parking fee is excessive.

Stayed at the Hilton Garden St. Augustine for 2 days on the way down to Miami. Property seems new. Facility is clean and fresh, rooms are spacious. There's a nice hotel bar with surprisingly good food. Try the Pork Belly Tacos. Staff very friendly. It was NFL divisional playoff weekend, and the TV didn't work in our room. We sat in the bar, chatted with the bartender (Tony), who told the manager, who comped us for some snacks while we watched the games from the bar. Made an irritating experience palatable. Hotel location was great for exploring the Historical District. Hotel is located in uptown; maybe 10-15 minute walk from Castillo / beginning of St. George St. Far enough from downtown, without being too far. Parking onsite and free. Juniper Cafe is just a few blocks walk towards the trolley. It's a convenient program. Get up. Juniper for coffee. Trolley. Hop off trolley by the cathedral. Maple Street Biscuit for well...biscuits. Hop on trolley and stop at the top of St. George by the original gate. Goto Ann O'Malley's for a Guinness. Walk home. Fun. Stay here.
