Understanding that this is not The Ritz, Lakeside Inn gets a lot right. The room is small but clean and comfortable. Refrigerator worked fine, as did the AC. TV offered a wide range of channels. WIFI signal was strong and consistent. Bed was comfortable, though could have used a few pillow options.
A small thing but I liked the power ***** on the side of the headboard, so you could plug in your laptop or whatever. OK, usually there's an outlet on the base of the bedside lamp but as I said, this ain't the Ritz....but they came up with a simple, workable solution.
Grounds are very nice. Lake is lovely and I enjoyed strolling out to the end of the long dock. This is a nice, quiet spot.

It's not just this hotel, most, in my experience, don't invest in good quality, comfortable mattresses. Lets face it, that is what they are selling, a place for people to sleep, away from home, but most go cheep.

Old school motel on a lake. Perfect place for a relaxing night away from home. Nice lakefront property with boat ramp and nice dock. Cool little place in between Melbourne and Orlando.

The lake was nice and the motel was good. But depends on the neighbors, they can get noisy.

This place was absolutely amazing! The hotel was so calm, the dock out back gave us gorgeous views, there are starfruit and papaya trees, the staff is so sweet and kind, and it was a truly relaxing stay. A little more old school which is exactly what I was looking for. We had to leave a day early which broke my heart, but if we're ever in the area again, this is where I want to stay.

It's a good location close to St. Cloud. I did have a little trouble with the TV, but the staff helped with that and the window A/C makes more noise then I care for. And it does take a while to get any hot water, be patient. I would stay here again.

The dock out onto the lake is a great serene place to go at night or watch the sunrise
