Inn with an incredible rustic character, in a little corner of Rimouski full of history. The welcome was warm... but it all ended there... We were told about the possibility of taking a spa, but to notify the reception to avoid the crowds and also to give us a towel. We came back from our dinner, a little before 9:00 p.m. and there was no one at the reception. A poster is affixed in the front door to indicate the telephone number to reach them, but no one answers… Very rustic hostel, with all the lack of soundproofing and adjus**ents that entails, but a minimum is required to provide a great customer experience. Every time the front door to the bedroom hallway opens, our bedroom door slams. The window curtains are not opaque and there are no blinds to compensate for this. At the shower level, it's very complex... clawfoot bath with unsuitable curtain and whose opening is found right at the level of the shower jet, so the water tries to get out of the shower all the time . In addition, the water stays in the bath, so I took my shower in 2 inches of water. Sleeping at the hostel is my worst experience ever and normally I sleep very well on just about any surface. And I have made hostels and hotels out of them in my life! The spring mattress was completely finished. Back pain all night. Tucks to one side, tumbles to the other in a bed that squeaks way too much for the price paid. Result, 4h37 of sleep. Still good, I expected worse. Lunch served as a hot and cold buffet… How can I say other than really very ordinary. In conclusion, first and last experience at this place that could use a lot of love and a good chef in the kitchen.
