St. Francisville Inn

Hospitality and food was great! The new rooms "Marie" was super nice and comfortable! We stayed at the Toussant and took the trolly to restaurant 1796 Saturday evening which was excellent. We got up Sunday morning for a bike ride and ate brunch at the St. Francisville Inn which was fantastic! Great trip!

Our stay was wonderful! Our room at Hotel Toussaint was comfy and the decor was amazing, for our stay all was just right! Just a lovely place and vibe. We would recommend more signage and clear check-in instructions for first timers as we drove around a bit looking for our place and office. Once we understood how the process worked… all was perfect and very easy. The staff was incredibly nice. We’ll definitely plan to be back soon!

Great property ! The location is perfect right in the center of everything ! The staff is very professional and helpful as well as friendly ! I love this place it is our favorite go to staycation location ! I would recommend this location to anyone who likes the area and the history that surrounds it the town and area .

As always, the St. Francisville Inn is a welcoming respite from the world. From the manicured and beautifully landscaped gardens to the front porch rockers from which to take a deep breath and experience the calm of the historic oaks, the Spanish moss, and the goings on of a quaint yet special small town, to the exquisite and interesting, but never ostentatious salons and dining rooms hosted by the most competent and kind staff, this Inn has it all and gives all. A repeat visit is a most anticipated trip.

We had a reservation for the Shadetree Inn, but due to storm damage it was unavailable. Jim graciously offered either a refund or the option to stay in town at Ayres Cottage. We stayed at the cottage and it was lovely, as well as in walking distance to everything! Unfortunately we had to check out early due to an appoin**ent the next morning, but I would highly recommend if you are staying for more than a day.

Ladies Trip 5 ladies visiting the lovely town of Saint Francisville for a few days. We selected the Sage House as our place to stay. This property is extremely well managed by the Saint Francisville Inn staff and includes daily breakfast at the Inn. Pros…. Great location, very convenient to shopping and dining. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and it has been completely renovated. The front porch is screened in and was a favorite gathering spot. Nice den with a big couch and swivel chairs. The kitchen has a breakfast bar, large refrigerator, dishwasher, and high end dishes, glasses and barware. Also includes a washer and dryer. Beds were very comfortable, excellent linens. Cons.. None of us older ladies wanted to shower in the small bathroom. In order to shower you have to climb into a rather large soaking tub. Beautiful to look at but a little scary to get in and out of. (May not be an issue for young people). Nothing to hold on to and nowhere to put soap, shampoo, etc. No electric outlet in the bathroom so we had to dry hair in the bedroom or kitchen. All in all it was almost perfect.

My sister and I were traveling during an awful storm and the St. Francisville Inn was wonderful!!! The food in the restaurant was superb as was the complimentary breakfast. Miss Shirley, our hostess, made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be back with girlfriends in tow!! Thank you, thank you!

We stayed in a beautiful room with lovely bedding, bath towels, and bath products. Miss Shirley served us a delicious breakfast. We always love visiting the St. Francisville Inn! The gardens are as fabulous as the inside décor. What a treat to stay there! And Charles, the manager, is so friendly and helpful!!!

We stayed in the Music Loft and it couldn’t have been more perfect! We were secluded enough for a quiet anniversary trip, yet still in walking distance to the Inn for breakfast and access to the pool! The owners at the Jasperilla area were the sweetest and talked to us a bit (their puppy and kitty too!) We loved playing music on the record player in the room while reading books, and also hanging out on the balcony at night, the resident cat would even give us extra company too! Overall couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway!
