What a week I’ve had, it was everything I wanted and more. From the stunning train ride departing from Amsterdam all the way to the Côte d’Azur, to the daily yoga and meditation sessions guided by the talented Frogs House team. A big surprise were the non violent communication workshops, I was reluctant at first but now I just want to know more! Everything was taught with humor and no pressure to participate if it didn’t feel right to you, my kind of retreat. I met an amazing bunch of ladies from all over the world: Denmark, Norway, Germany, USA, Australia, UK and France, I haven’t laughed so much in a while, my stomach muscles got a true work out. Not to forget the hikes and views around Saint-Jeannet overlooking the French Riviera. It’s such a stunning area, and the little beautiful sleepy town really added to the experience. It was hard being in busy Nice again after that. We had a personal French chef making our daily meals, he also gave a cooking workshop so I have some recipes to try out at home. Oh and wine, loads of lovely local wines from a family run vinyard just down the road. I had the room in the cellar, but believe me it didn't feel like the cellar. Although I had the lowest room the view was still amazing! The room was clean, perfect for 1 person, with a great bathroom and super quiet at night. A true highlight was the chapel of Matisse in Vence, without Benoit’s knowledge about the history and build I don’t think I would have been so in awe. I’ve come away from this week feeling centered, inspired and looking forward to the months ahead. Thanks Frog's House! I’ll definitely be back!
