La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio Downtown Reviews

overall was a pretty good stay. the room was spacious. However my window only has 1 light layer of curtain, and not the light-blocking/thicker one. when i phoned the receptionist, she basically ignore my complaint by saying there is one (there wasnt, i even showed her the photo there was only 1 layer instead of 2). she said will ask someone to check the next day, but there wasnt anybody checking nor added. im still giving 4-star overall for the location, parking, and spacious room.

The hotel is about ten minutes' walk from the lively river bank. The room is quite large and soundproofed. It may be the weekend, there are many guests in the hotel, the parking spaces are almost full, and there are also many people eating breakfast.

Excellent hotel. Location - all attractions can be reached on foot in 20 minutes. Parking is free, there are plenty of places. Breakfast is ordinary. The rooms are spacious. The staff is very friendly.

3 night stay it was amazing I was able to bring my fur baby they do charge a pet fee. The room was very clean and spacious. The walls I would say are very thin you can hear the conversation from the rooms next and across from you. The front desk and staff are very nice and friendly, great communication!! 10/10 would recommend!!

It is a nice hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Convenient walk to the Alamo and Riverwalk. Felt safe walking. Lots of road construction (March 2024)

Walking to many place in 20 minutes, nice area. Plus free parking and breakfast, room is very clean.

We were in Texas for a business trip and decided to spend a couple of days in San Antonio to see the river walk and go to SeaWorld. This hotel has a great location less than a 10 min walk to the river walk. It is clean and quiet and the staff were very friendly. The room was very spacious and had comfy beds. I would definitely stay here again

It was more spacious than I had expected. Especially for the price. I'll definitely be staying here again.

The property was clean and neat friendly staff clean room I was very comfortable the only thing was the elevator moved slow but other than that it was great and I really enjoy myself

This property is close to the riverwalk and the historical market. The HEB across the street is the best!

Nice property and great balance for cost/location. It is close to all the downtown vibe by short walking distance. Few items to improve: elevator is dated and slow. Also, some areas of the room were not clean enough, the bathroom extractor was all dusty and a little mold in the shower area. Other than that it was a nice stay.

There were clumps of hair stuck to the wall in the shower. Our toilet kept running several minutes after flushing. There were spots of covered up mold near the vent and behind the toilet the wall is crumbling. The fridge was not currently in its spot so some of our drinks were warm after the 2 days. The door to the room closed soooo slow and it was off center of the hinges so we had to lift the door a little to get it to fit into the door jamb and latch properly. We paid about $200 a night, on an off week not a holiday and that was just not worth the price any more. We usually stay here cause it was nice and parking is free they had good breakfast. The breakfast is mostly toast, bagels and waffles.
