Great hotel! So authentic and charming. Skittles the cat was a lovely surprise as well. Would 100% recommend. Great location close to all the sites, felt very safe around the hotel as well. Very helpful staff.

Great location, friendly atmosphere, homely feel to it, wee bit tired in places, Had to go a few doors down to another (sister) hotel for breakfast. 9unfortunately for me there was no GF options )

Great Bed, Horrible Parking!
The hotel is cute and quaint. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. The parking situation was not ideal. There’s a lot across the street that charges between $40 and $100 for overnight parking with no set rate or availability for hotel guests. There are no in and out privileges. Very inconvenient.

The bed was not very comfortble. The free breakfast that they advertised was in a hotel down the street. I will not be staying there again.

Love the hotel, location, and extremely charming room looking out the main street. As a cat lover, Skittles was a highlight as well as the coffee shop across the street. Definitely staying back at the Golden Gate Hotel in the future.

Would not recommend
Got there had to walk down the street and get the key from another hotel. Then my room didn’t have a restroom had to share it with other people. The people next door were really loud. Beds are very uncomfortable. Does not have EV charging even tho it says on the website. Horrible experience.
