La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Marcos Reviews

Could not stay in the first room that I was assigned to. It smelt too bad was given a different room on the opposite side of the building. It didn’t smell as bad, but it still smelt bad. Could not watch Netflix or anything cast from the phone because the volume was locked down on the TV so low that even sitting in front of it, you still could not hear it Most places that advertise breakfast included start the breakfast at 6 AM. There’s did not start until 7 AM at which time I’ve already left for my appointments each morning By 3 o’clock the next day, my key card no longer worked. I had to go get it reprogrammed what if nobody had been there  

The room had dirty/dingy face towels. 3of the lamp lights was not working. The toilet was not clean.

Our first room was very dirty, smelled like smoke and had broken furniture. When I mentioned this, I was quickly moved to an updated room which was remarkably better. The water pressure wasn’t good and the amenities weren’t either. It’s cheap! But not comfortable.

Customer service and check in was great. Wasn't too ecstatic about having to put a $100 cash deposit vs a credit card but whatever, rules are rules. There was a group of men loitering outside my room for about 2 hours, they were loud, seemed like they were hanging out after work so i knew they would go to bed soon but still shouldn't be allowed. Number 1 thing I disliked was the smell of the room. I went to buy a candle or else i wouldn't have been able to sleep. If you are there just for a place to lay your head down over night, its oksy. gyys that were

The hotel was clean-as in carpets, etc but old and run down. Toilet handle broken, mildew and mold covered the bathtub and bathroom ceiling Things dusty and looked like they haven't been updated in years

Took dogs. comfortable mattress. This is a very old hotel that Wyndham has put a lot of cosmetic updates to. The breakfast room and breakfast were good. Limited area for walking dogs. Room smelled of cat urine. No hangars. Pillows need replacement. Moldy.

Other than the housekeepers harassing you about service, everything was very pleasent

I was for one night in the room 117 with my wife a s 2 kids 17 and 12 and the TV was damaged, (i have pictures), the hairdryer not working to old not enought shampoo for 4 guest, the phone do not work too, in general the instalations are very old and careless.

There's areas that needs improvements, like re-paint on walls, carpet etc. Vicinity can be more clean. Specially the trash cans area and stairs.

Recently remodeled. Great location and convenient. Only complaint is the cleanliness. Corner of the room had cobwebs and the room had a musty smell.

The managers of this property are not investing anything in the property. Room was clean and staff was friendly but not enough staff apparently because complimentary breakfast was cancelled. Could be very nice if they updated fixtures and paint.

there was roaches coming out of base boards in the bathroom. I also was find stuff along the sides of the beds and dead bugs all along the walls. Simone scratched up my car as well.

Easy access to do things in San Marcos. Quit and room was extremely comfortable. Great shower!

Well no breakfast was available even when this site stated it. Doors were a bit sketchy due to the lock not closing properly. I am def reconsidering this place especially with the price
