Beautiful grounds, rural and farm-like, surrounded by cows, horses and lambs nearby. Room and pension nicely decorated and carry a lot of charm. Room doesn't have a fridge or air-con. However, hosts serve hearty breakfast at a small fee in the morning with home-made corn cakes, fresh orange juice, ham and cheese etc. Very friendly hosts who carry their smiles to their service. I highly recommend this place and would rather stay here than in the city. City center is 15-min drive away from the pension. Street parking could be very challenging there but we managed to find parking spots quite easily in Parking Pombo. Overall very good value for money.

Estuvimos muy bien, está en un entorno muy bonito, Juan y su madre te hacen sentir como si fueras de la familia, el desayuno variado y la quesada me gusto mucho, total silencio por la noche al estar en un paraje perdido pero muy cerca de Santander y playas, no os perdáis el valle de Ason y el puerto de las estacas de Trueba. Confortable y acogedor. Paraje sin igual, y a la vez cerca de todo. Desayuno completo y rico. Atención excepcional de Juan y su madre. Un enclave maravilloso en el que disfrutar de la paz y de los paisajes cantabros.El buen hacer de los anfitriones hacen de ello una visita que no hay que perder.

Excepcional experiencia en El Mirador. Pasamos 3 días y desde el primer momento nos sentimos como en casa. Trato excepcional de la familia, instalaciones muy cómodas y limpias y un entorno inmejorable. Sin duda se convertirá en sitio de peregrinación para nuestras vacaciones.

Nos encantó la estancia en el Mirador de Rivas. Juan y su madre son maravillosos, super amables, muy atentos y preparan unos desayunos caseros riquísimos. Mis hijas quedaron encantadas allí, con ellos, con el entorno q es espectacular y con la casa q es preciosa, impecable en todo momento y decorada al detalle. Gracias Juan por lo amable q fuiste con las niñas y con nosotros. Volveremos.😍😘

Estancia excelente, El Mirador de Rivas es de esos sitios en el que te quedarías a vivir, la tranquilidad de la naturaleza, la ubicación en pleno prado, la decoración tan acogedora, el trato de Juan y su madre y ese porche espectacular en el que pasarías horas y horas sin hacer nada, ya tenemos casa en el campo 😊 recomendable 100%

Hemos pasado unos días en Cantabria y nos hemos alojado en el Mirador de Rivas. Estamos encantados, por la amabilidad el sitio privilegiado y las personas que hemos encontrado. Viajamos con un niño de 4 años y por suerte habían más niños en un ambiente familiar que nos costaba salir de allí por las mañanas porque se ponían a jugar y se lo pasaban genial. Los desayunos…sin palabras. Todo riquísimo y súper bien atendidos. Cerca del parque de Cabárceno, de la playa de Somo y de muchos sitios de interés. Gracias a Carmina, a Juan y a todas esas personas y niños que hemos encontrado allí y han hecho que estas vacaciones sean especiales.
