Hotel Corallo Sorrento

This hotel was spectacular. I did not book a sea view balcony room, but my view of the Mountains was quite pretty. It was quiet, clean, and amazing service from everyone in the hotel and restaurant.

Fantastic place located overlooking the water. The staff are professional and friendly and were always helpful; they even go outside of expectations to help in anyway they can. We stayed in an executive room (667) which has a lanai that's incredible to sit on for a private drink/meal (Privacy note - there is a hotel with rooms facing across the street so private in the sense you have it to yourself). The bed was extremely comfortable. The food and drinks are outstanding. The location is perfect for driving to any of the restaurants in the area and/or driving to the coast. The location is very quiet - the only noise we heard were surrounding night clubs/restaurants, things you cannot control like kids yelling or showing off @ 2/3a and then the harbor boats/horns. That's pretty darn quiet in my view. I would rate this place a 5 but I had to go a 4 because of one thing and to be very clear - it is outside the control of the hotel; Italy rules prevent the use of heating or air during "spring". If it's unseasonbly warm or cold, you're going to have to deal with it - the unit will not function in the room. I didn't know that going into the trip but that's on me. I have asked management to try to advertise when something like that is not expected to work as it may impact the room type or where guests stay or when they plan their trip.

Staying nearby so called in for sunset cocktails - views & set up are fab however prob one of the worst pizzas we’ve had 😔 service & staff very good Views & sunset spectacular Each received a comp appetizer which was very tasty Save yourself €50 and go here for sunset drinks rather than the overpriced Hotel Mediterraneano across the road

Wonderful, truly beautiful hotel and welcoming and gracious staff. Beautiful location. Easy access to neighbouring towns. Always made to feel welcome and very sorry to leave. Courtesy shuttle for when you wanted to take it easy especially coming back from Sorrento in the evening. Buffet breakfast had everything and more and restaurant food was excellent.

I had walked past this hotel many times on different visits to Sorrento, as our regular hotel was fully booked, I was happy to book the Corallo, we had an early flight so was up at 2.00am when we arrived we were shown to our room bearing in mind we paid around £3.300 for one week bed and breakfast including flight all booked through TUI, and we could not believe it so small, and nothing like we had booked, it was like a budget room, so I complained and showed the photo of what I had booked, and was told the hotel was full, but in two days something would be available, and showed me to a room all in blue very nice, decent size bathroom and told that will be £100 a night more, I said ok, two days later was told sorry it’s not available, this was unacceptable I felt, the first night we were awake due to a wedding and loud music until around 2.00 am, the hotel is right opposite the Mediterraneano that has a sky bar and loud music and that was what we had to put up with the second night, the breakfast certainly was not the best I have had in Sorrento I have visited 22 times since 1997, but the evening meal we had once and it was excellent as was the head waiter, I will add photos of what we booked and what we were given, not everyone reviews, but I promise there are a lot better hotels than this one, not even a cover on the duvet, Also I love music but it is very loud so my advice is be very careful where you book. I complained to TUI as we did not enjoy holiday,and we did get a room at our usual hotel for two nights that was just so lovely, TUI were not interested, once they get the money that’s it.

Amazing hotel! Wow, just wow. Me and my husband visited the hotel for 3 nights to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and we’re made to feel like royalty. From the first greeting at the front desk to the final departure - the staff are simply first class. Our bags were taken to our room and we were shown around the hotel by a lovely lady and then given a welcome drink. The room was on the 5th floor and had the most amazing view and balcony. Room had a very nostalgic feeling and was very traditional. Not needing improvement like others say, just Italian. There was a wedding on the first evening which we sat and watched from our room- just magical! Not at all noisy like some reviews state. The breakfast was lovely, the usual croissants with eggs, pancakes, toast etc. and once again the waiting staff were so very attentive. Showed us straight to a table on the balcony. We ate at the pool one day, the biggest toasted sandwich and chips! A little pricey but hey - it’s Sorrento! We used the shuttle bus daily to go into Sorrento which was brilliant - even though the driver was a bit grumpy! Thank you so much for an amazing holiday - we would love to return, maybe on our 30th anniversary!

Beautiful setting; friendly and helpful staff. Food was fine for both breakfast and dinner. I wish the shuttle ran at least once in the mid-afternoon. It’s a bit of a hike to central Sorrento. I took a city bus and got lost!

Beautiful views. Clean and nice size rooms, very clean. The staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. A regular shuttle runs several times a day to take you to the Sorrento downtown. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Corallo, with stunning views over The Bay of Naples, provided us with a wonderful week, catching the last of the summer sun. The rooms were spotless, and beds comfy. Dining areas were elegant, managed discreetly but efficiently by the maitre d , and where all staff served us delicious food, well presented. A shuttle service into Sorrento was most welcome. Grazie mille to all the welcoming staff.
