It was an amazing experience to be at Hotel Vendimia Parador. It is a great place to rest, be among nature and around great vinyards and restaurants. Delicious breakfast! Thank you for the stay and we hope people will start coming to Chile where is super secure during covid restrictions.

Wonderful stay at Hotel Vendimia Parador -- the room, hotel, and especially garden were all a paradise and Mauricio and Ines were fantastic hosts who left us wanting for nothing. After several weeks traveling from Patagonia to Santiago this was probably our favorite place we stayed -- wished I could have stayed longer but already planning a trip back :)

Really enjoyed this wonderful family run boutique hotel in Santa Cruz in the center of wine country. Mauricio and his wife and son were very accommodating and worked very hard to ensure that our stay met expectations. It was very quaint with lots of antiques and art to enjoy. The rooms were clean and bed very comfortable. The pool was clean and very refreshing after a warm, sunny day enjoying the area. Would encourage you to participate in the tour/wine tasting at Encierra vineyard, which their daughter-in-law Inés can provide. Really enjoyed it and recommend it without hesitation.

I have not written a review in a little while and it not because I have not been traveling. Rather not too many experiences have charmed me quite like my stay at Hotel Vendimia Parador. Let me say at the start that if you are seeking some ultra-slick, uber-sophisticated cookie cut Marriott vibe then you should just stay in Santiago and book yourself a bus tour from the city and call it a day. Santa Cruz is in the heart of one of the finest viticultural areas of the world, the Colchagua Valley. To get to understand and appreciate this land and what it offers, you need to immerse yourself a bit and take a few days to soak it all in. Hotel Vendimia Parador provides just such an opportunity. To begin with, the property is a converted farmhouse or hacienda that dates back centuries. Many of the hotels in the area are very similar in concept and presentation. Not all of them, however, display it with such authenticity and care. The exterior is set amongst the vineyards and fruit trees with a very lush garden offering climbing trellises, shrubbery and trees of all type including citrus, avocado, plum and cherry. The entrance to the property is a cobbled drive that leads to the reception area. it is all very intimate and private looking; only hinting at what awaits. The interior is, for lack of a better word, a museum. There are historical artifacts of all manner including horse tacking gear, antique stirrups, beautiful period furniture and finally, my favorite, a collection of ancient stone weaponry used, with considerable success, by the local indigenous people. Make sure you ask Mauricio, the owner and host along with his beautiful wife Carla, to show you his artifacts and share with you the history. It is fascinating! The rooms are varying in style , size and decor. Each has its own personality. They are not enormous but they are very comfortable with well dressed beds of quality linen and my favorite touch, lots and lots of pillows. The bath is complete with all amenities and the water runs hot when you want it. After a comfortable night's rest you are invited to breakfast in the dining room. For my stay I chose the breakfast included and I would encourage the same for your stay. It has a communal/family vibe as there are two massive dining tables and it provides a opportunity for the guests to share their experiences and suggestions for your trip. During my stay the owners, Mauricio and Carla, were present at every breakfast with welcoming smiles and full of ideas and recommendations to share for your stay. At present they are not offering lunch or dinner service but are currently working on expanding the kitchen and dining area to accommodate folks wishing to dine at the hotel. Keep in mind however, there is no short supply of options nearby including a very nice restaurant just across the street. I had rented a car so the food options for me were frankly overwhelming. Down the road a bit is a lovely "Parrilla" or grill house serving wonderful fl

On arriving at the Hotel Vendimia Parador sign we saw that we were entering what obviously was once a historic home. It was a bit overgrown with lush vegetation and the drive and entryway looked private, but we were warmly welcomed as we stepped back into history into an inviting space with burnished beam ceilings and woodwork, wine barrels full of their own boutique wine, and period antiques throughout. Our room was in the original older part of the building, once the home of the vineyard administrator. Mauricio and Carla treated us as their personal guests. At breakfast we met some interesting fellow travelers, for a complete b and b experience. For travelers who want a more unique place to stay than the average hotel, this might be the place. The bathroom fixtures in the older rooms could use some update, but then again that might interfere with the original historic home experience.

The property has a character but it’s little dated and over crowded with lots of decorations. While we were there the pool was not operational (due to the floods). Location is convenient, there are couple of restaurants walking distance. The breakfast was delicious and the owners are very pleasant and helpful.

Charming bed and breakfast, beautifully decorated with a real antique; welcoming owners, great location for visiting wineries; the most wineries are within ten to fifteen minutes to drive. Our room number 6 was very spacious, with comfortable bed. Great outdoor space, very good breakfast, everything was just perfect.

Hello, we had a wonderful stay for two nights at the Hotel Vendimia Paramour. The hosts went out of their way to please us. Breakfasts were delicious, beds comfortable, and property was delightful! We sat out on the second level terrace to watch sunset and drink wine and it was very memorable. Would stay again and recommend to those needing a hotel in Sara Cruz. I would give five stars.

A unique and unusual B&B near Santa Cruz. We booked based on previous reviews. However, we were staying near the start of the season so a number of amenities were unavailable (pool, deck) and our room had definitely seen better days as well as being close to quite a busy road. The hosts were kind and hospitable, and we sincerely appreciated the bottle of wine from their vineyard. The range of historical artefacts and the approach to displaying them, along with the hosts' obvious passion for preserving these items and architectural antiques was interesting. I can see how the place got the reviews it has had, but it's currently under renovation and several of the restaurants that have been noted as being nearby are now sadly closed. Breakfast was not included, though we thought it was and it was a good breakfast. The hotel is reasonably near central Santa Cruz, but not, we decided, safely walkable due to the roads having quite fast traffic and no pavements/sidewalks. I would suggest checking / researching before booking, and not relying on the reviews. If you're allergic to dogs/cats this isn't a place for you.
