What a wonderful couple of days. We stayed in the Faraday(green door)cottage. It is beautiful, spacious with the most comfortable bed. Each day started with a delicious breakfast and ended with wine, appetizers and music with Dave on the gorgeous porch. Dave is wonderful and arranged a tasting for us with Artiste...we had been waiting to try them. It was such a great experience! We do not stay anywhere else when visuting.

Be sure to check this place out if you are in town for business. They offer fantastic accommodations and exceptional service. I loved being able to start my day off with freshly prepared breakfast, and the opportunity to unwind each evening while meeting new people. Plus, Dave is one awesome guitar player and singer.

11 out of 10. Amazing accommodations and staff!!!!!! Super clean. The food was amazing. The staff was very friendly. The wine happy hour can't be beat. We were lucky to experience live music. We will definitely be back with the entire family.

A great location in a fun area. Room options are good, staff is very friendly and helpful. Also the included breakfast is great and they are flexible if you need to leave a little early. Highly recommend! Lots of local wineries including boutique if you’re interested!

Dave and his staff always present a wonderful experience...from checking in to the morning breakfast and the evening happy hour it is always first rate! Rooms are large and very comfy with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Great location to stroll around the town of Santa Ynez or drive through the SY Valley tasting wine and seeing the sites...always plenty to do...enjoy the stay!

ForFriends is outstanding in every detail. A 3 night stay in the Inn midweek. We are multiple times returning guests. We love coming here to relax, interact with other guests, catch up with owner Dave, kitchen wizard Sandra, and all the other delightful staff. The Inn shines with low key, unpretentious, personable, and exemplary service. We can’t wait to return.

Had an amazing stay at ForFriends this weekend. Just a perfect experience between the genuine and friendly owners and staff to the very comfortable and cozy bungalow to amazing happy hour / sing along guitar session… just exactly what you want in a romantic wine country trip. The breakfast basket too was next level!!! Great location in Santa Ynez. And make sure to check out SY Kitchen nearby.

Fabulous B&B. Warm welcome by delightful, friendly staff at the door with sparkling beverage and escorted to our cozy room. Enjoyed complimentary happy hour with a yummy charcuterie board paired with yummy wine, chardonnay and pinot noir our favorites. Leisurely to dinner and back to the Inn for gourmet cookies and desert wine. Felt soooooo spoiled! Everything and more we were longing for. Thank you Dave at For Friends Inn! Your staff went above and beyond devoting attention to our wishes.

The For Friends Inn always exceeds our expectations and we've been coming here for years. We like staying in the Brick Barn room because it has its own, separate entry. The room is spacious for 2 people and the bathroom is more than accommodating. You can't beat the location for being able to walk to great restaurants after enjoying a great happy hour with wine, charcuterie, and many times, entertainment. The breakfasts are great and plentiful, enough so that you may not need lunch. Can't recommend this place enough.
