Nice hotel in the center of the historic city. A lot of restaurants and bars near by. You don’t need to use car. Everything is in a walking distance

I started staying at the Caribe Colonial Hodelpa about 12 years ago. The staff was always a strong point, and still is. The facilities needed work. Finally, the facilities are very comfortable. The bathrooms have been redesigned and refitted. The Wi-Fi is solid, and the televisions are new. The rooms are small still, but very comfortable. After staying at other hotels and Airbnbs, I'll be choosing this hotel more consistently.

Space is limited in every way. The rooms were very small and parking was horrible. It’s a beautiful hotel but not my favorite place to stay in Santo Domingo

The bedroom could have been a bit cleaner. It was dusty in places. Also there were not convenient outlets. Also the shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor.
