Fantastic place. We arrived mid afternoon and the view captivated us from the first minute to the last and every one in between. So quiet too - peaceful +++ and OK every once in a while some people found the view (the most photogenic for sunsets in Fira!) but it was mostly just us. Awesome. Well located, fantastic help from Jenny and her team and the furnishings were most comfortable and spotlessly clean. It's 3-4 mins walk to a supermarket that allowed us to self cater for breakfasts and a couple of lunches (the toast maker is a nice touch). The induction hob was brilliant and freshly squeezed oranges from the fridge, an espresso, ice cold water and omelettes for breakfast were fab. Not before spending a relaxing 30 minutes sitting on the balcony in the fluffy robes provided, soaking up the peace of the caldera with a cup of tea or two in hand. We had brought a couple of sparkling wine glasses from the plane for a bottle of Prosecco or two (yup - got them from the supermarket with the breakfast stuff). Jenny realised and on the next morning she brought a couple of brand new stylish sparkling wine glasses for "the real thing". Really well located for supermarket, Fira Main Street and shops, eating places and the bus station. (Yet it felt as if we were away from the crowd.) 100% recommend.....😎❤️

Pros: - The location of this property is perfection. - Conveniently close to Fira town centre and the bus depot, yet far enough to be a quiet retreat at the end of the day. - The views from the room is amazing. When you step out in the morning, at golden hour and at sunset. - The room is spacious with use of wifi, TV, kettle, refrigerator, safe etc - The room is clean and well kept. Housekeeping does a good job. Free bottled water everyday. Cons: - There are some minor issues in the bathroom which the owners know about. - The sink area can be better with a wider + deeper sink. - The shower floor can be slippery. Could install textured floor tiles? - Light sleepers might find the fridge slightly noisy at night. Tips: - Local supermarket is closed on Sundays. Mini markets that are open on Sundays are more expensive. - I recommend Nikolas Restaurant and Pelican Kipos Restaurants for dinner, both are within easy reach of the hotel.
