Although the room is not big, the facilities are very new and it feels very novel, belonging to the new hotel chain type. The hotel is located upstairs in the Auchan supermarket, which is very convenient.

Very clean and new hotel. The carpets in the hallways were brilliant - well thought out to make wheeled suitcases easy to pull; also stylish. Bed was super comfortable, AC very effective, room was kept immaculately clean by friendly cleaning staff. Friendly staff served breakfast and in the roof top bar which was amazing, with 360degree views. Dipping pool and sun loungers were well-used; hard to get a lounger in time! Downside: some very odd management decisions. Despite description on Trip there was no cafe, no lunch or dinner and not even bar snacks! I rang on the 2nd day to ask for a bottle of water … response “Madam, this is a 3* hotel. You only get a bottle of water on your first day”!! Bizarre. I was able to buy a $0.99 bottle from the bar for €2.50! Breakfast: the ubiquitous coffee machine producing the most disgusting coffee - I tried all of them! In the end I risked tea and even the hot water had scum on it. I know I was not alone … bacon - HP sauce standing proud like a statue - no sausages, cooked tomato, fried egg etc! Pancakes and waffles - no syrup! Nice fresh bread rolls and croissants. Sliced cheese and packaged ham. Selection of cereals, orange juice and good selection of fruit. After 5 breakfasts I got fed up. WARNING - I was asked to give them my debit card to pay - she wrote down all the details! After I thought - why? I asked why - she said do they could charge me after I left if anything was missing or broken. I was assured this was legal in Portugal! I told them that was what “checkout” was for! I froze my card but I was really angry and when I have time to get a replacement I will need to cancel it! Balcony nice but only looked onto other rooms! Looking down - WHY NO GARDEN???!!! Just rooftops. I recommend a 4 hour boat trip …. Maybe 30m pleasant walk. Also hire bikes and go to the Nature Reserve - don’t miss Roman Salt Pits and beach crabs ….😊

My wife and I stayed at this Hotel at the start of June 2023 for 5 nights. I cannot be more complimentary about the service we received from reception staff, breakfast staff and the two 'managers'. My wife has limited mobility and would use a wheel chair. Everything possible was done to make her stay as full as possible and our lovely room, at the front of the hotel was full of tech and extremely comfortable. Not a beech hotel but a glorious city break base, and Faro has more to offer than you might think. Many thanks to Ricardo and his team. Apologies if spelling is not perfect.

An amazing 1 week stay at the Quinta do Marco. This beautiful villa style hotel is located in the midst of an orange/lemon grove (amazing scent at this time of the year) surrounded by lush, mature fruit trees and garden. Our room was large, light, clean and airy with a balcony with an amazing view of the surrounding areas. Breakfast choices was adequate, freshly baked bread, fruits, eggs cooked to our preference were available, thanks Manuela! Staff were very nice and hospitable, shoutout to Sofia, Thiago, Pedro who all provided us with great service. There's a heated pool and spa although we didn't use these. Sufficient parking spaces available on site. As an additional bonus, there's a small holding of donkeys, chickens, geese, sheep and peacocks within the hotel grounds

I went alone but never bored. I had a late check in and everything was spot on. I communicated with the hotel about my flight change and quick response they booked me a taxi which was there waiting at weeee hours of the morning. The cleanliness was %100 rooms clean I cannot fault. I enjoyed the bus ride, the Uber was ok. The area was quiet if anyone looking for closeness but the taxi price was good. There was so much to do. My last day went to the spa over by the aqua park OMG it was rejuvenating only thing was you have to pay with a discount if you are staying at the hotel., for 2 hours 25 euros I think it can be a little cheaper for hotel guest. But I am not one to complain it is a kids friendly hotel so expect to hear kids running around planning to bring my grandkids next time, I know they will enjoy it. Breakfast was ok, ate outside for dinner there is so much place to choose from. Just a Uber ride away. A big shout out to Bruno very good cocktail and he gave me tips of places to eat out side. The hotel has a good location, where you can watch the sea. The terrace is large but the facilities in the room are outdated. The staff at the front desk is quite nice. I stayed for one night and had the dinner at the hotel restaurant. The dishes tasted good.

This hotel is inland about 20 minutes from Faro. An outstanding hotel with staff that really look after you. The bedroom was spacious, south facing and overlooking the pool. Breakfast is mostly continental with some options on how you would like your eggs cooked. It is very quiet, exactly how we wanted it to be after not being abroad on holiday for two years. Usually wonderful evening meals in the restaurant are available but the chef was isolating during our time, except, that is, for Valentines Day when extra staff were drafted in the give us an excellent meal. This place never fails to impress.
