Wir haben eine Woche Urlaub am Schluchsee verbracht. Da wir bereits den Gasthof Hirschen kannten, haben wir drei Mal in einer Woche dort gegessen. Wir wussten, dass das Essen dort einfach top ist! Egal was wir bestellten, das Essen war einfach wie immer sensationell! Sehr empfehlenswert ist der Feldsalat (Nüsslisalat) mit Speck und Croutons und einer leichten Knoblauchsauce, der Hackbraten, Filetspitzen Stroganoff oder das Rumpsteak. Es war sowas von lecker und werden das Restaurant immer wieder aufsuchen!!

Wir waren als Familie 3 Nächte zu Gast (inkl. Halbpension). Die Zimmer im Gästehaus waren einfach, aber grosszügig eingerichtet. Das Mobiliar wirkt zwar nicht sehr modern (muss es auch nicht!), ist aber in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Fazit: asugezeichntes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis! Das Morgenbuffet ist auswahlreich, aber nicht zu üppig. Mehr braucht es nicht. Die Zutaten sind frisch sehr gut. Das Nachtessen (4-Gang Menü) war ebenfalls jedes Mal lecker. Für die Kinder resp. Vegetarier waren spontane Menüänderungen nie ein Problem und wurden unkompliziert umgesetzt.
