On this busy weekend it shows again how important staffing and training of the hotel employees is. We waited a long time to check in as no one was around. Then the outdoor pool was overfilled with guests and no one tried to clean up the towels or chaises. The dinner service was confused and uncoordinated. Rude service waiters yelled at us to wait outside and to get out of their way! Not an experience we expected. No supervising manager was around. We won’t come back here.

Absolutely perfect in every way. Thanks guys! Evolution equestrian had a great time. We will be back. Lots of restaurants to choose from, lots of activities, great equestrian a**osphere and definitely the place to go to wind down. Lots to see and do around the area.

We felt comfortable all around! The furnishings are wonderful, the cleanliness is impeccable and the service is good. The breakfast is particularly outstanding - really top quality! I can also highly recommend the Goldener Pflug restaurant. The spa is wonderful and well-kept. The entire complex is simply fantastic and invites you to go on a little tour of discovery from the stud farm to the golf course. Of course, the beautiful Chiemsee is not far away either. The internet is also really good. I was able to work here without any problems. For me, the price-performance ratio is absolutely right here and I can really only recommend Gut Ising to everyone (including families or business travelers, for example)! We would love to come back!

We spontaneously decided to spend a night at Gut Ising and we didn't regret it. A sundowner on the terrace of the Il Cavallo restaurant, then a quick dip in the swimming pool and later in the evening we ate at the Goldener Pflug. In the morning we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. I rarely write reviews, but this is appropriate. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, really not too expensive for the standard. The room was a decent size. The service in the hotel was really good. The complex is very well maintained and the location - although not directly on the lake - is wonderfully quiet and surrounded by greenery. From Il Cavallo you can also see the lake and the mountains. We would have liked to have stayed another night - but unfortunately we couldn't do that. Now we will just come back again for a longer "hide out" weekend.

Anyone who appreciates the ambience of an old manor house is in good hands here. The staff is friendly, helpful and competent. The food in the hotel's restaurants is excellent. Given the number of guests, the wellness area was completely overcrowded, especially since many guests simply put towels on the loungers and reserve them for the whole day. But that's the case in many hotels. Overall, recommended for a short vacation. Of course, riders dominate there. Dog owners also feel at home. But I would go there again.

Very well-kept hotel "in the country" with a view of Lake Chiemsee. Modern hotel rooms and a great wellness/sauna area. Traditional but modern! Purely feel-good a**osphere. Extensive grounds with lots of nature... an experience even with a small child because there is a horse farm attached. We had a great short vacation here with the family.

As a couple, we can unreservedly recommend a holiday at Gut Ising. We were there for a week. We had booked a comfort room, which was beautifully furnished, modern and clean. It was cleaned every day. In addition, the minibar, which was included in the price, was refilled daily with cola, mineral water and rhubarb spritzer. I would particularly like to highlight the excellent service at breakfast and dinner in the Goldener Pflug and Il Cavallo. Very courteous, and despite it being very busy at times, we never had the feeling of being too much. Very hospitable and my urgently needed gluten-free diet (due to celiac disease) worked out really well. I felt great the whole week. The dinner and breakfast were simply delicious. During the week's stay at Gut Ising, I had booked eight riding lessons, which were held alternately by the two riding instructors Marie and Julius. Both were great and picked me up where I was and also took the horse into consideration. I particularly liked that. You could see how much they value the horses and treat them very well. I was able to ride the same school horse for the whole week, which was very well behaved and easy to walk. I would have loved to take little Jacky with me. Meanwhile, my husband was in the small but well-equipped fitness room, in the great spa area or at the outstanding massage, where I was able to relax every day after riding. The landscape, the lake and the nature are really fantastic and you can walk for hours. We were there with friends and ended the day and evening almost every day at the hotel bar. The cocktails are great. You can't drink as much as you want 😉 We will definitely be back! Many thanks again to the whole team! See you soon!

Our first stay with a total of 4 nights. We liked it a lot. The rooms and restaurants are spread over several buildings, which means longer walks depending on the room location and destination. Very good breakfast. Restaurant Il Cavallo with delicious Italian dishes, attentive service and good service. Sports bar Derby nothing special with service that could be improved (at least during our visit). Nice sauna and swimming pool area. Our impression was that the hotel is mainly visited by golfers and horse riders. Good starting point for hikes and tours. Dogs are welcome.
