Beautiful location, wonderful hotel and lovely people. We stayed two nights to celebrate a friend’s 50th birthday and were treated extremely well. The rooms were clean, comfortable and a good size. The restaurant offers a large range of choices, including local dishes as well as vegan options. Thank you to everyone at the hotel.

I had the honor of celebrating my 50th birthday in this lovely, family-run gem of hotel. The surroundings are amazing, the service brilliant and the food and drinks great. Just a perfect place to celebrate any special occasion.

Die Parksituation ist mehr als nur fragwürdig. Beim Einchecken immer noch Formulare aus Coronazeit. Das Zimmer roch chemisch und ich musste erst einmal die Fenster aufmachen. Die Bettwäche ist für Allergiker ungeeignet. Das Wasser in der Dusche ist nicht angenehm einzustellen. Rezeption in keinster Weise hilfsbereit und um den Gast bemüht. Beim Frühstück die Magarine war abgelaufen. Im Restaurant bekam man zwar einmal ein Getränk, aber danach ward bis zum Bezahlen keiner mehr gesehen. Keine Nachfrage ob man noch etwas trinken möchte, keine Nachfrage ob das Essen in Ordnung ist. Das Preis-Leisungsverhältnis ist viel zu hoch und die 3 Euro für Internet und Parkplatz eine Frechheit in der heutigen Zeit. Einmal und nie mehr wieder. Es war das schlechteste Hotel in dem ich die letzten 5 Jahre genächtigt habe.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel di passaggio nella zona di Norimberga diretti verso la Polonia. L’albergo si trova a 10 minuti dall’autostrada, in cima a una collina che domina tutta la valle. La vista è spettacolare, nonostante la pioggia e le nuvole basse. L’albergo è caldo e accogliente anche se le stanze sono un po’ datate e non c’è l’ascensore. La pulizia, però, è da massimo del punteggio, così come la cortesia del personale. La colazione è piuttosto ricca e ci si serve al buffet nonostante il covid. Abbiamo anche cenato al ristorante. I piatti sono passabili, ma nulla di memorabile. In particolare gli spatzle al formaggio non sono un granché, sebbene dovrebbe trattarsi di una preparazione abbastanza semplice. Tutto sommato un’esperienza piacevole, con qualche piccola pecca.

Wir waren schon sehr oft im Igelwirt. Bisher mochten wir das Lokal sehr. Unser Tisch heute für 5 Personen im Anbau war viel zu klein, man hatte kaum Platz für die Beilagen. Keine Tischdecke auf den Tischen im Anbau. Die Bedienung brachte uns als wir die Nachspeisenkarte verlangten, eine Karte für 5 Personen, sie kam 2 mal vorbei und wunderte sich, dass wir immer noch nicht gewählt hatten, na ja mit einer Karte dauert das. Die Essen kamen so unterschiedlich, dass die ersten schon fertig waren als die anderen Essen kamen. Ehrlich gesagt, geht das gar nicht, bei dem doch etwas gehobenem Anspruch des Lokals. Das Essen war jedoch wie immer sehr gut, außer der Eisbecher, war einfach lieblos. Ach ja und von wegen Corona Abstand. Wir saßen Stuhl an Stuhl mit dem Nachbartisch. Werden demnächst woanders hingehen.
