The skiing experience in the Vialattea ski area was fantastic, with such a wide range of pistes across different towns and great snow conditions for late March. The hotel however was rather average. 1. Rooms - The rooms were spacious in size and felt modern with great views from the windows. However the walls were paper thin and you could practically hear people breathing out on the corridor. The beds were very firm and most notably they were only made up by the cleaners in the day rather than having fresh sheets put on. 2. Breakfast & Dinner - On the whole breakfast was very good, there was a wide range of food available hot and cold to fuel you for a days skiing. Dinner on the other hand was hit and miss. Some nights the food was very tasty such as the prawn cannelloni, other nights the main attraction was poorly fried fish and chips. The food was also only lukewarm some nights. The waiting staff were very attentive and helpful however. 3. Bar - The bar only opened at 4pm, without even the option to have somewhere to sit during the day if you weren’t out on the slopes as the lights were turned off and the doors closed. A coffee machine was only provided for après ski hot drinks until 5pm when it was wheeled back into the restaurant. The barman also served me (an Irishman) Guinness with the largest head known to man and tried to tell me this is how they serve it in Ireland after I asked for it to be topped up. 4. Other general services - the hotel ran a shuttle bus between 9-10am and 3-5pm to the gondola and the main ski area in Sestriere to save you walking with all your gear. The boot room was also well heated so all equipment was warm and dry in the morning. Overall the stay was pleasant but probably flattered by the skiing experience rather than what the hotel offered its guests.

We had a good stay at this hotel, the staff are very friendly and the rooms were comfortable. The bar was good and had nice drinks but the food we felt wasn’t great. The quality isn’t there but I also didn’t expect it to be fine dining so it didn’t bother us much. We were kept up with a lot of noise above our room for 2 nights which was frustrating and you can hear quite a bit from the corridors or balcony’s. The hotel offers a free shuttle service but if you want to stay out later on for apres you will have to walk up the hill, which is about 7-10 mins (in skis) and is up hill. The hotel is also quite far from the main town bit and it’s about a 15 min walk, we didn’t mind this and it was easy to walk but good to know if you don’t want to walk much. Overall I think the hotel is good, we won’t be booking food next time (we booked half board) as we didn’t really enjoy the food, especially the dinners. In the evening the hotel offer a buffet and it was always the same. A lot of food but all a bit odd, cold vegetables and heated meatballs etc. This is available as well as your starter and mains.

This hotel is close to the gondola and foot of the slopes and they provide a mini-bus to and from although you can walk it in about 10 minutes. It’s about 10 minutes walk into town. It’s a smart looking place and the staff are friendly enough other than the gruff chap on the front desk, who basically can’t be bothered with any requests whereas the ladies couldn’t be more helpful and polite. The rooms were clean and large and ours (203) faced the mountains. They were cleaned every day and have toiletries, a fridge and a kettle. Maybe a few more places to hang clothes etc. The bar area is nice and the bar staff were very helpful and polite, chose some good music and always found sport on the big screen. Not really sure what the bar manager does other than stand at the end of the bar drinking loads of beer, eating crisps and ogling women. The Guinness is a nice pint! The boot room is handy but gets very busy and could have been better planned out. The food was mostly decent but occasionally very poor. Breakfasts had a good choice as was the salad bar in the evenings. Some meals were only lukewarm and some were ridiculously small in size. However the staff were really helpful in advising us re our son’s peanut allergy as well as arranging something different to the menu for him. Overall a good hotel and nearly got 4/5!

We booked this hotel via a package quite last minute as it looked the nicest within our budget (unlike the French Alps options), but I was a bit concrened as there were mixed reviews. However, this hotel totally exceeded our expectations. We took 3 rooms, all slightly different but adequate sizes and comfy beds. But oh my god the food! We were half board and have all come home a stone heavier. There was something for everyone, although if you don't want your kids to eat cake or donuts for breakfast for breakfast dont go :) (I soon gave up on that) but there was plenty of healthier options too. We had 4 courses every night, 2 of which were chosen from a menu the night before. All delicious, with plenty of both healthy and also beige options for fussy eaters (as we have). The only downside was that the hotel was a 10 minute walk into the town, so bear this in mind if you want to go out in the evening or want to indulge in late apres ski. There is a brilliant shuttle service from the hotel to the slopes for skiing, but this stops picking back up again around 5pm, after which its walking! However the hotel has a lovely cosy bar anyway which we were all really happy to go to instead after skiing and after dinner. All the staff and service was really good and we would definely recommend.

A good 3.5 star hotel. Rooms clean & comfortable, nice bar, breakfast and evening food was very average but OK. Music in the bar really not suitable for families, very ******** with bad language, had to ask them to change it. Pool table needs attention to play a game! The hotel is a good 10 min walk uphill into the town (in normal footwear). The shuttle bus runs 8.30am-11am dropping off at the gondola and in town every morning which is very efficient. Coming home it runs 3-5pm which means if you want the last lift or to enjoy some apres-ski you need to make sure you get the last shuttle or be prepared to walk. Gondola would be min of 10 min walk uphill to the hotel home. Staff all very pleasant. A nice hotel and if you’re happy to just get to slopes and back then it’s a good choice. Sestriere ski was good for the array of slopes and access to other areas, reds are quite challenging reds.

Had a week with a group of mates. The hotel was excellent. The rooms were a great standard and the hotel bar was decent. The shuttle service to the slopes was a great touch. Breakfast was great for continental . Overall it was a great value hotel, thank-you.

We recently stayed here with a group of 12 friends. Overall we have had a good experience. Rooms are comfortable and well maintained with fresh towels every day . We feel the food could be better and found the cold vegetables quite strange . We would stay again but only on a bed and breakfast basis

Fantastic stay at great hotel, with very kind and friendly staff. The Maitre d was especially helpful, and was very accommodating with our dietary needs. The food was fabulous, and the hotel was very clean. The shuttle bus both in the mornings and afternoons was super useful.

AVOID THIS HOTEL 1.Carpark: The carpark lacks proper signage and has poor lighting, making it difficult and unsafe for guests to navigate. This poses a security risk and is unacceptable for a hotel of your caliber. 2. Ski Locker Room: Upon entering the ski locker room, I noticed signs of broken locks, which raised concerns about the security of my equipment. I did not feel confident in leaving my belongings unattended in a room that appeared compromised. 3. Pet-Friendly Policy: Your website claims to be pet-friendly, but I experienced unwelcoming behavior from staff towards dogs. They refused to clean my room because of my dogs, and the separate lift designated for dogs seemed unsafe and outdated. It is perplexing why dogs cannot use the same lift as other hotel residents. Additionally, the lack of facilities such as water bowls or blankets for pets is disappointing. 4. Room Conditions: Despite booking an upgraded double room, I was dismayed to find that the double bed consisted of two singles pushed together, creating an uncomfortable gap. Furthermore, the duvets provided were thin and small, failing to meet the expected standards of a comfortable stay. The mattresses were excessively hard and contributed to an uncomfortable night's sleep. 5. Balcony Safety Hazards: The balcony in my room was incomplete, with sharp edges and rusting nails protruding. This presented a safety hazard that is completely unacceptable for guests. I expected a safe and secure environment during my stay. 6. Shower Issues: The shower in my room had missing trim, exposing sharp edges that could potentially cause harm to guests. This negligence in maintaining a safe shower environment is unacceptable and must be addressed immediately. 7. Breakfast Quality: The quality of the breakfast provided was far below acceptable standards. The coffee, touted as one of Italy's specialties, was served through a vending machine and tasted bitter and cheap. The fruit juices were concentrated and unpleasant, delivered through another vending machine. The fruit itself was not fresh, and the pastries and bread were of substandard quality, resembling emergency rations rather than a proper breakfast. The non-branded, bulk-purchased jams further highlighted the lack of attention to detail in providing a satisfactory dining experience. In summary, my stay at your hotel was unsatisfactory in various aspects, ranging from safety concerns to poor service and amenities. It appears that the hotel prioritizes maximizing profit for its owners rather than providing a satisfactory customer experience. Therefore, I kindly request a full refund for my stay based on these grounds, as well as the significant health and safety concerns raised during my time at your establishment.
