The Old Shanghai Huixiang is a budget-friendly option in a super convenient location for exploring the central parts of Shanghai. The staff was really nice and receptive.
The ongoing renovations seem to aim showcasing the building's history which give it a certain charm. But it also makes the place feel a bit messy... Be prepared for a bit of a construction zone atmosphere. Even the rooms that are refurbished do not really have a new/fresh feel to them. If you prioritize a polished, modern experience, this might not be the best fit. However, if you're on a budget and appreciate a touch of history, this hotel could offer a unique and interesting stay.

老公説簡直比監獄的環境都差，一點都沒胡説，有圖為證，環境差就算了，關鍵是一晚上的尿騷味，讓人呼吸困難，雙人床被子小的兩人沒法蓋，叫前台電話還不通，從三樓戰戰兢兢下到一樓，樓梯是巨陡峭的那種，前台抱一床被芯，給一床被套讓自己套，更可怕的是被芯上多處血跡，要多恐怖有多恐怖...真是所有旅途中最難忘的一次體驗😱😱😱

上海市中心，上海書店，七重酒店，南京路步行街，淮海路步行街，大世界，人民廣場，美食街，步行街，地鐵1號線，2號線，8號線方便，福州路進去即可。有上海韻味十足衹得一宿👍👍👍

比我們第一天在上海住的酒店好多了，學生黨窮遊，這個價位在魔都上海難得是正常的，挺乾淨，位置也很方便，離景區都很近，就是離地鐵站步行不大方便，騎共享單車比較方便。喜歡牆上掛的畫，概括了這家酒店的裝修歷史
就是不提供瓶裝水，但大堂可以接水喝，走廊有點窄，爬來爬去的有點累尤其是玩了一天之後很累
