Econo Lodge Inn & Suites I-65

I would give 0 stars. The room smelled like *********, the floors were dirty, the beds were worn, the bed did not have a mattress protector. The employee did try to give us a different room but all the rooms were dirty. However, he would not give a refund as we used a third party company.

Easy check-in. The person working the counter was nice and courteous. The location is great for a break during a long road trip.

Not the fanciest hotel, but for a family of four that just needed a place to stay for the night, this was a good place and one we’ll probably make use if again. Price was good and staff was friendly. The room was very large. The beds were not the greatest, but we’ve slept on much worse in fancier hotels. The fixtures and furniture weren’t the newest and fanciest, but it was clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Very happy with our overall experience.

Last year, I stayed here for one night while attending a funeral of a relative, based on a good stay I'd had here a few years prior. I recently had to attend another funeral and stayed here once again. I actually ended up in the same room I had in December 2022. The place has gone downhill from a year ago. I had to go back to the front desk to request towels and washcloths for the room. The floor was filthy dirty (especially the bathroom) and the toilet appeared to be dirty. Because I used a free Choice Privileges night, I guess I got my money's worth, but even with this being about the cheapest place to stay at this exit off I-65, I'm not sure I'd stay here again. The wi-fi worked well, the shower water pressure was sufficient, and the furniture was comfortable, but the cleanliness was a bit off-putting, especially since the same room a year prior was more acceptable.

Dirty room, pet fur, soap left in the shower, smelled terribly of cheap cleaning products, door didn't shut correctly and had a crack of light and air even locked, breakfast was old cereal, 2 pieces of stale bread and cold coffee

Friendly service, comfortable beds, amenities satisfactory....good bang for the buck. Coffee was good in the morning ..would like a better selection for continental breakfast but overall.. No complaints here.

Heater didn’t work. Bathroom light didn’t work. Breakfast was a choice of 3 baby muffins. No kids for coffee.
