Best Hotels in Shimotsuga District

The clean room is very comfortable. The hospitality of the hotel is high, such as the polite response of the front desk staff and the free breakfast can be eaten from 6:30 in the morning, and I would like to use it again.

The room is small, including the bathroom. But it was enough for one person to sleep. The free amenities were small and there was no comb or shower cap, but I thought it was okay because I could stay cheaper than other hotels in the neighborhood. Overall there was a feeling of cleanliness, and the staff was polite and nice. The freshly baked bread for breakfast was more than expected! There were croissants, egg bread and apple bread, but I was surprised that they were all delicious. It was really just the right amount for me, who didn't need the amount of breakfast buffet. If I have a chance to go to Utsunomiya again, I think I will use it next time.

I often use Candeo Hotels in the Tokyo metropolitan area, but this was my first time in Utsunomiya. The rooms and sky baths are the same as other Candeo hotels, but they are clean as they were built recently. Best of all, it's close to Utsunomiya Station, making shopping and eating convenient. It will come in handy when you are on a business trip to Utsunomiya.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, affordable business hotel, conveniently location at just 2 minutes from station. Good breakfast. Clean ambience. Close to river, walkable distance. Many restaurants nearby including McD. Recommended. Has a bus interchange close by. Tokyo Airport has direct bus to the bus stop just in front of this hotel as well. 40mins by Shinkansen to this place from Tokyo station. Even if you have work at Kitsuregawa, would suggest to stay in this place and take local train to commute.

First of all, the parking lot guidance is smooth and pleasant. I am very happy to have a corner room again. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathrooms are well cleaned. The most important thing is to be quiet and sleep soundly at night. This is the hotel I wanted to stay in again when I came to Utsunomiya.

I stayed with my family in twin and single. The room was clean, quiet and I could sleep well. The room was small compared with rooms at other hotels I've stayed at in Japan for a similar price, but it was clean and comfortable, except for the hard pillows (this, granted, is just a personal preference). The bed was facing the elevator hall corridor, with only a thin wall. The sheets had stains like cigarette ash. The room was small and dirty. It was completely different from the photo. The unit bath with toilet was small, dirty, and smelly. Maybe they are taking advantage of the location, but I wish they would be more honest in their work. I have stayed in many hotels, but this is the first time I have had such an unpleasant experience, including with the hotel staff. The price was 11,000 yen per person for a three-day weekend.
