Overall, I am very satisfied. A work of cultural heritage. I was pleasantly surprised the moment I stepped into the door. Details are the most ingenious. The details of this hotel are worth looking at again and again. Different from the standardized facilities of many luxury hotels, this is a warm "apartment". Yes, I prefer to call it an apartment because it feels like home. The building's exterior cleverly uses the slope to create a visual effect of "alternation between the old and the new". It is actually a completely independent new and old building. There is a feeling of a different world at the junction. The area of the suite is not large. Guests who pursue luxury may be disappointed. But after using it, it is well considered and thoughtful. It is just right. If you stay in the old part of the house, you can see the original old floor tiles. They have traces of use but are as new as ever. Facilities: 4.5 There are not enough sockets, but the rest are very good. Service: 5 People who are interested in history can ask the front desk, and the reception staff are very enthusiastic. Transportation: 5 Very convenient, a few steps away from Clarke Quay. PS: The bar downstairs will be a bit noisy. If you care, you can communicate the room orientation in advance. I was very tired at the time and was not affected.

I was very disappointed with my stay at the 21 Carpenter Hotel. I booked this through the Marriott bonavoy system and was expecting to have the usual upgrade that you get as an elite plus an already good hotel. The reality was pretty bad. The room was the most minimal room I have ever stayed at throughout Asia. This was similar to what you'd expect at a hostel - not at all what I expected from a premium brand. To compare I stayed last year at the Fullerton for about the same price. There's no question it's a far nicer hotel and more professional experience. The air conditioning wasn't working in my room. That's very difficult and the place is hot in Singapore. I spent three nights battling with front desk to get someone to look at. Finally at the third day somebody took a look. Again an experience that you expect at a Super 8 motel, not Ata premium Bonovoy Property.

Stayed in a Heritage Suite and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Everything was really tasteful and well-curated, from the lobby deco to room furnishings, not to mention the rooftop lounge with views of the skyline and MBS! Staff were also very forthcoming and professional. Food at Kee's was delicious and reasonably priced.

My stay at 21 Carpenter was spectacular! I was welcomed with warm and friendly staff, and the hotel's vibrant atmosphere is immediately noticeable, creating a lively yet relaxing environment. The rooftop lounge is a highlight, offering stunning views of Marina Bay Sands. It's the perfect spot to unwind, and during National Day rehearsals, you can even catch a glimpse of the fireworks! One of the highlights of my stay was the awesome service. Their dedication to guest satisfaction truly made my experience memorable and made me feel right at home. Overall, 21 Carpenter is a gem in the heart of the city, offering vibrant surroundings, gorgeous views, and an atmosphere that is both warm and inviting. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional place to stay!

Stayed in the 2-Bedroom Heritage Suite for Dad's 75th Birthday. Absolutely love our stay. A lovely, warm and cosy hotel that feels like home. Staff surprise us with a big birthday cake and a birthday song. Dad was overjoyed and absolutely enjoyed his stay. Thank you 21 Carpenter Team for your warm hospitality!

Housed in a beautifully restored remittance house, 21 Carpenter Street seamlessly blends heritage charm with amenities. The room that I stayed in offered all the comforts of a modern hotel - a plush bed, sleek bathroom completes with amenities like Dyson hair dryer. We enjoyed the great night view from the rooftop pool as we unwind at the end of the day. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a charming and comfortable stay in Singapore.

WOW! This is an awesome new addition to the Singapore hotel scene. The design and service was on point. We were welcomed by Karen at the Front Desk and were quickly shown to our spacious accommodation on floor 3. Loved the heritage look and feel which is exactly as depicted in the website pictures. The details were awesome. The garden on our floor was peaceful, though very humid :) The roof pool was amazing and we did get some awesome sun each day. Loved Kee's restaurant on the lobby level that was always buzzing with folks from all walks of life. Locals love this bar and restaurant; as on multiple occasions we chatted with a few while at the bar. Mervyn the man behind the bar was friendly and amazing. We love busy bar's and this hit the right spot for us. Overall an awesome hotel, great location and amazing facilities, happy to recommend this place in Singapore.

21 Carpenter is my new favorite hotel in Singapore. It's centrally located, with direct access to the subway (MRT) system, it marries historical Singaporean design with the modern. The rooms are beautiful and include all the amenities you'd expect. The pool on the rooftop has a fantastic view and is perfect for sun bathing.
