KB Ammos

First the good bits: Great location for the town just cross the road and go down the bank to the little crossroads turn left and follow the path till you come up the hill to bus stop number 4 and you can easily walk into the town from there without walking along the main road which can be quite busy. The hotel is very clean and beautifully kept the staff are lovely and very friendly and the food at breakfast was beautifully presented and a really good choice. For me our stay was tainted due to the room we were allocated I wished I had thoroughly read the other trip advisor reviews before we went and I would have been prepared. We stayed in room 108 which was dark it received no natural light from the moment we entered the room we had to put all the lights on we were unable to sit on our terrace as we were in the shade looking at a wall with a painted mural on not a garden view as promised by TUI. So we could not enjoy any sunshine. A kettle is available but only on request I would expect this to be a standard feature in a 4 star hotel. Also the lack of mirrors is an issue as the only mirror is in the bathroom above the sink a mirror in the bedroom area would be greatly appreciated. The other rooms with dip pools and jacuzzis looked lovely and we envied their ability to sit outside their rooms and enjoy the sunshine. We did not request to change our room we just decided not to spend our time in the room and left immediately after breakfast and only returned to change/shower before going out to eat in the evening. TIP Definitely avoid rooms 108/109 unless you like the shade and a dark room with no views.

What a lovely hotel. The staff are amazing. Customer service incredible. Special shout out to Christina and Stellios. The cleaning ladies were incredible - sorry did not get your names. Also the staff in the breakfast room went above and beyond. The breakfast choices were awesome. The only thing that would stop us returning us rooms 108 and 109 are under cover and the outside space is very dark. I would not want to be in one of those rooms. The risk is too of being allocated one of those rooms is great if we returned. For that reason sadly we won't return

We booked knowing we’d have an amazing time after recommendations from friends. Hotel is beautiful and well located just outside Skiathos Town and a stone throw from the beach in Megali Ammos. The staff are amazing and so friendly. They go the extra mile. Christina, Stellios and all the staff are amazing. The breakfast is first class. Highly recommended and will be back.

Wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. Firstly this hotel is conveniently located only a short walk away from Skiathos town and is also close by megali ammos beach, bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is very modern and clean, we had a an amazing suite with a large balcony, indoor jacuzzi bath, and large bedroom/bathroom with separate shower and toilet. The staff are so lovely and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast had a good selection, I especially enjoyed the different pancake options and Greek yoghurt with honey. The pool area is also lovely, however we did not use very much as we rented a car and was visiting lots of different beaches. The only comment we would make is that it can sometimes be noisy in the room due to being located on a main road and also due to breakfast room being located near rooms but it did not affect our stay. Would love to return to this hotel on our favourite Greek island.

Outstanding, 5 star. Could not have been better. The hotel is immaculate everywhere . Excellent facilities in a great location. About 100m to the beach, and a short 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Skiathos town. Restaurants, bars, mini market, bus stop just on the door step. What makes this hotel probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in, is the staff. Never been in a hotel and felt so welcome and at home. Everyone we met, whether on reception, the singing Chef- cooking breakfast, waitresses, bar staff or room service were so happy, friendly and helpful. The hotel should be very proud of the small fantastic team they have put together- all work fantastically together ! Thank you everyone for making out holiday. Tony and Caroline.

If you're looking for a hidden gem in Skiathos island, this is it! We stayed in a double room with a private pool that was truly amazing, very clean, stylish and modern. The private pool gave an extra touch of luxury and relaxation, which was exactly what we needed. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a great variety and freshly prepared food. We enjoyed our stay so much, couldn't be happier with our choice!

Loved the location of the hotel, it was only a few minutes walk to Megali Ammos beach which has a great selection of tavernas on the front. It’s a 10 minute walk into town with the option of going from the beach or along the main road (there isn’t a path all the way but we walked there and back before sunset so felt safe enough). We arrived to a warm welcome from Olga and a nice cold welcome drink, she explained everything about the hotel, showed us the pool and our room and provided some dinner recommendations which turned out to be great (1901 in the old town) along with a map. We ate at the hotel in the afternoon twice and both agreed that the Greek salad was the best we had on our trip! All of the staff were warm and friendly and Christina was especially kind when she recognised us in Skiathos town on our second night and gave us some directions! The rooms themselves are modern and clean, we loved the blackout blind and the ac worked well for the June temperatures. The housekeepers did a great job each day. Breakfast was lovely and provided a selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, juices, muffins, cakes, toast and a great mixture of hot food which changed daily (bacon, cheese pie, crepes to name a few) along with my personal favourite of warm chocolate croissants. Although we didn’t try any, the chef makes omelettes and fried eggs to order and other guests seemed to love them. Quick tip - the left hand side of the toaster is the side that works the best! There was some road noise from where our room was (101) but we didn’t mind this too much and it didn’t impact our sleep - the beds are super comfy! We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come again!

We have just returned from a week at this hotel in Skiathos. Honestly it's a lovely little hotel. The breakfast was nice. The staff are really friendly and happy to help any way they can. The downside for this visit was there was some building work been down on the neighbouring plots, which i appreciate is not the hotels fault.
