The Plough Inn was a delightful place to stay. The staff were very friendly and the room was spotless! I had the best nights sleep ever because it’s so nice and quiet. The food was absolutely delicious also, both dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Drinks at the bar are reasonably priced. Parking is free and plentiful. Would love to visit it again. A lovely, cosy Yorkshire dales vibe.

We stayed at the Plough B&B for easter weekend. Lovely little country pub with open fire and good food. Rooms were nice, we ate dinner a few nights and it was okay. Staff were all brilliant, special shout out to Niall who couldnt have done enough for us. We had 2 dogs stay with us also and they were well looked after aswell, would return. Not much round about so need a car or transport of some sort for exploring the dales

We recently stayed at The Plough for 4 nights and I highly recommend it! The venue is fantastic, amazing wood burning fire, beautiful bar, restaurant and conservatory area with lovely surrounding countryside. The staff were so friendly and helpful the whole time and very welcoming! The food was delicious and great portions and choice! The room was brilliant, beautifully decorated and great amenities - everything we needed! Honestly very much recommend a stay here! Thank you to everyone at The Plough for such a wonderful stay!

Lunch with friends, beautiful place with a roaring fire. Special lunchtime menu, we had the steak pie which was possibly the best I’ve ever had, followed by sticky toffee pudding - again, absolutely perfect … and all for £15!!! Excellent value and quality, and friendly staff - what more could we ask. Thank you ☺️

We absolutely loved our stay here although we have stayed at many pubs with rooms near the area we had never heard of the plough until it popped up on our search! So glad it did though it was absolutely fantastic rooms food (market menu is an absolute bargain!) But the best part of our stay was the staff every single one of them needs an award for best people in the hospitality trade we have never encountered such a friendly bunch of people before and for that reason we would definitely recommend the plough and hopefully be back in April. The Plough is a traditional yet stylish country inn with rooms, nestled in the beautiful countryside of the Yorkshire Dales. There is always a fire burning in the pub on an evening! In addition, the restaurant is wonderful with the finest local ingredients (the cheeses!) used to produce sumptuous meals. Even the B&B breakfast featured extraordinary omelettes from eggs raised next door and local cheese from the next village. Such a treat! The staff are so friendly and eager to point out local things to do and tell you about life in the Dales. And getting there treats you to countryside and views beyond believe. Just a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Can't wait to return!!!!

The best fish and chips I have had! The fish was fresh, the batter was perfectly cooked ( unlike the partially cooked batter that you normally have to tolerate); the peas were well cooked, sweet and tasty ( unlike the usual tasteless mushy peas ) .The chips were cooked with beef fat and were delicious.

Our second visit to the Plough at Wigglesworth, we had the 2 course lunch, which was amazing value at only £15! But the food - wow! Absolutely delicious, if you’re passing, you will not regret popping in! The staff are friendly and welcoming too - win win!

had food here while at a campsite nearby, a warm welcome from friendly staff our dogs also, the food is not cheap but is reflected in the quality, even though i got adventurous i still enjoyed it, and there is a good choice of gluten free, as necessary for our friend not a lifestyle choice. a good choice of beer at the bar.
