"This is a brilliant boutique hotel in old town Solsona Spain. Close to everything paid secure parking is optional. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Room was big as was the shower and toilet - spotlessly clean and breakfast if you want it - excellent hotel well worth a look"

"Hostal Can Franciscó is an accommodation located in the entrance of Gósol, a little town in the pre-Pyrenees Region, in Catalonia. The rate quality/price is very good and our triple room has all we needed. It was very comfortable and the beds were very good. It is very well located in the region, if you want to do some walks and hikings. The staff of the hotel was friendly and we could be in the restaurant at night speaking and relaxing before going to sleep. On the other hand, it does not have a lift. (See also Cal Francisco)"

"What’s advertised and what you actually get are two very different things. Basic issues were handled poorly, promises were made and then reversed, and the way we were treated as paying guests was shocking. When problems arose, responsibility was avoided rather than taken. This place may look beautiful, but the management and service behind it are deeply disappointing. We left feeling stressed, dismissed, and misled. Would never return and would strongly advise others to think twice."

"We were looking for a charming hotel with a pool for a romantic weekend getaway. The room was not very large, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. All the lighting was controlled through a smart home system. The pool area was pleasant, the restaurant was very good, the Wi-Fi worked well, there was a large free parking area, and the staff were quite attentive. The bathroom flooded easily due to the shower's layout. Also, when we made the reservation, we were not informed that there would be a wedding taking place and that the pool would therefore close at 6 p.m. We also felt that the overall value for money was somewhat disappointing."

"The online pictures are a fantasy, they don’t reflect our stay. The room we had was a 2 story, the only thing downstairs was a bathroom, the only thing upstairs was a bed. It was 28°C and air conditioning was not working when we checked in. We reported it, and they promised to check it. When we returned late, it was 28°C, and no one around. The next morning we complained again. No acknowledgement, no apologies. Later we sent the hotel an email complaint. No reply. Hence our warning to others, AVOID this hotel!"
