"The hotel took great care of its guests. Two guest representatives take care of all the guests' needs and were very accommodating and provided us with a lot of information. We booked an elegant double room on the ground floor, and it was very clean and functionally furnished. Unfortunately, it wasn't very quiet due to the street directly in front of it. The room often smelled like a drain and was somehow musty. Unfortunately, the service in the Ophelia restaurant was sometimes really bad. Some employees seemed annoyed and unfriendly. There were often long waiting times before you could even place an order. The serving of the food was rushed and impersonal. The quality of the food was okay but not above average. The sauna and fitness area is well equipped and very clean. The path to the beach is short and there are enough hotel beach loungers. The location is also ideal for taking trips to the region."

The first-line sea view and private beach view are invincible, and free parking is also a bonus. I lived in a double-examination sea view room. The living room and balcony on the second floor can only see the scenery, but the air conditioning effect is too poor, and the upstairs is too hot. The temperature on the island in July and August is very high. All items in the hotel are charged, including water, and there is no free bottle.

This hotel was perfect on all aspects, the room was amazing, big very clean and well equipped. The view from the balcony and the swimming pool was brilliant! I really enjoyed the spa and the interior pool as well. The restaurant of the hotel was perfect too, the food was really good. But most importantly, the staff of the hotel was highly professional and the nicest people! All of them were very good to us and treated us so well. I include everyone in the staff including the cleaning lady who was so lovely too. All in all this might have been my best holiday in a very long time if not ever. I highly recommend this hotel! Big thank you to everyone at Lagon life spirit boutique hotel, you’ve made our stay so perfect!

The room was spacious and the hotel was super clean and extremely comfortable. Everything felt brand new and the service was really 5 star. We were happily surprised to learn that the indoor swimming pool is actually just a giant jacuzzi. We spent an hour there on our last night which was super nice. The bed is really comfortable and the place is quiet. There is a valet service for parking your car and we got welcome drinks and snacks on arrival. Thanks again for the free bottle of wine and fruit bowl as a VIP welcome gift. We really enjoyed and will come back to this hotel if we ever visit Chania again one day.

Personnel very effort, were 3 nights in April - for pool and sea too cold, In a few minutes you are in the ”centre” - some local and supermarkets - was more a basis for us for excursions In the SPA area, a indoor pool is built, if you can use it - would be great for the side season Breakfast excellent, parking available.

The spa - hamam, sauna and indoor pool (1m deep though?!) is the hotel’s best feature. There is no beach access though, so I went to Nea Hora and Golden beach. Rooms - too small, lack of storage space, complex buttons and unnecessarily complicated console. It was quiet even though I was given a 2nd floor room. The overall signage in the hotel is confusing too. Beds and pillows - huge and comfy. Food - excellent. Massage decent. Toiletries good. Only frontal views are of the sea, but cost 10x more! Otherwise - trash can views!😤 A la carte breakfast - too slow, you eat less, always a misunderstanding… and after you order they take away the menu… Rooftop pool - a scam! Sunbeds always occcupied and need to be booked to see the sunset 🙄 there is another rooftop on 7th floor but after 10min you want to leave, because there are no showers, a pool, toilet or a bar… Staff is young, fakely polite, too slow and not very responsive - obviously trained for certain types of guests (culturally unexperienced). So even to get a locker in the spa you had to wait to be explained how to unlock it (and pass a test?!), even though there are two people at the reception desk. My coffee capsules, sweetener, and teas were not replaced the following morning during the housekeeping visit and a used glass was not washed. The balcony pool is tiny and got a lot of fluff from the street, plus I didn’t feel comfortable using it with it being visible from the street and building right across the street. I was also called at 21:30 (I was asleep?!) to check whether I was satisfied with a complimentary 30min massage (due to the poor room view)… 🤷🏼♀️ I understand that it is a new hotel and they are trying their best but I also paid 800+€ for two nights and was frustrated during 50% of my stay… 😒 I attended a high school for tourism and hospitality, worked as a masseuse, also and worked in 5-* hotels Chania 30 years ago, but stayed in a multitude of 4-5 star hotels worldwide since. Especially in Asia where the service is top notch. Therefore, all of this is not acceptable for such a high price. Yes, the welcome drink is nice, and so is the complimentary massage, but you should do better, Hilton!

Great all-inclusive hotel for families: food and drinks are very good, 3 large pools, fun evenings, only 10 minute walk to beautiful beach, bus stop nearby, large parking. We had a wonderful time there!

The staff in reception is not so friendly the food is not like a 5 star hotel the most of the menu is frozen except the grill that they cook the meat the same time. They don’t have many rackets for the ping pong only 2. The list of the free cocktails for the all inclusive program is so limited and for the classic cocktails is extra charge. The bars and the restaurants is open until 23:00 after that only ghosts is outside. The heated pool is not so hot. The jacuzzi on the spa is not working. The only good thing is the rooms is very big very clean with nice views includes a kitchen fridge A/C and spurs and spoons and they gave us and an upgrade to a loft room.

Beautiful newly renovated hotel with a modern and relaxing atmosphere. The new team is doing an amazing job, everything was very well organized and welcoming. The rooms were spotless, the food was excellent, and all the staff were wonderful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Mara, who was especially helpful and made our experience even better. We would definitely come back!
