"We had a great experience at Yayaki very recently. I had known the island a few years ago and wanted to return in a place "at home" where I could visit the island with trust, care and best advise from a local team! this is the best (and quite unique) place in Spetses to feel so comfortable while still with "Greek belonging". Kark, Hannah and the staff (great staff! both for cleaning, cocktail making or just chatting :-)) are great listeners and always find a solution. The breakfasts are perfectly balanced (i miss the greek yogourt in a glass pot already), the bar attendance till 11:00pm is really nice, the pool vegetation absolutely lovely. The low number of rooms make it a quieter and more confidential space where you can interact like home. I would recommend to go for the suites to get the nicest opening to the pool and city (and sea!) as they have terrace and large balconies. Yayaki is perfectly located, walking distance from the old harbour, from the new Port with shopping area and 10min walk from Paradise nearest beach. All in top experience, thank you team for hosting us and see you next year!"

"Extremely expensive for what it is. The building is old, very old with wooden doors and windows. The quality of service very low and overall I felt it was not worth it. It is not run by professionals. AVOID at all cost. I would not recommend it at all."

"Excellent hotel, fantastic location short walk from the port and centre. Staff were all excellent, rooms nice with good aircon. Second floor pool facing has views over the sea and nice little balconies albeit very hot in August. Breakfast lovely. All in all a great place to stay and we would definitely stay here again if returning to Spetses. The town itself is lovely with great restaurants, cafes, ferry connections to mainland or other islands."

"Porto Vecchio is an absolute delight. A perfect location - ignore any criticism of it being noisy - it is right in the Old Harbour and of course there are people and boat movements; that is the whole charm. It is peaceful and idyllic, with every attention to detail and comfort in the beautifully furnished rooms. The air-conditioning, the WiFi, the TV all work perfectly if you need them and the bed, bathroom and linen are all of the highest quality. Great restaurants close by and a bar on the harbour front right outside, so don't be put off by lack of apparent facilities on site. If anything better to have them outside as it makes the place itself feel even more like a home. Last but not least - the owners and staff are just lovely and super-helpful with any requests. A gem of a place."

"An absolute treat of a hotel. Excellent from start to finish. View from our room was amazing, immaculate and extremely comfortable facilities. The breakfast was fresh and changed each day. Tonya, who was running it, was a mine of local information with knowledge of the hiking routes/restaurants/directions. As a host she was top notch."

"Located about a 20 minute stroll from the town Dapia through little winding streets these apartments are an amazing base. Not modern but authentic Greek set around a courtyard and gardens with the inviting pool at its centre. Clean comfortable rooms, a good continental breakfast selection and very friendly staff who do their upmost to make sure you have a relaxing holiday. (Happy wife happy life.)"
