Apartments Korta
4.7/552 Reviews
These are fantastic apartments in a quieter area just a few minutes from Split’s old town and Riva. We stayed in number 6 which had a little balcony and was a great size for several nights. The delight was in the detail, great storage with plenty of hangers, compact kitchen area and again everything you needed - kitchen towel, lots of glasses and cutlery, and a good sized bathroom. It was also spotless! Every morning there is coffee and pastries in the courtyard - a lovely touch and staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We found them in the Lonely Planet guide to Croatia and would highly recommend.
Lanterna Rooms
4.7/536 Reviews
On our recent trip to the Balkans we stayed in six locations in five different cities in three countries, All locations were clean, enjoyable, safe and hospitable but Lanterna and the family that runs it came out tops in their willingness to assist our stay with arranging great restaurants and tours to help us to get the most from the trip. Lanterna’s location is ideal in that it is on the fringe of the old town thereby providing easy access to the historic sights waterfront and restaurants but away from majority of the noise and crowds. Sanya in particular went out of her way to make sure every detail of our visit was what we wanted to get our of our Split visit. She even came to our car when we arrived and navigated us to the secure parking located 100 yards from our door. As it is an historic stone building the rooms are a bit on the small side but are nicely equipped. But the attentiveness and consideration of the staff and family more than made up for that inconvenience.
Rooms Gold
4.4/50 Reviews
The room is in the attic. Although small, it is very cozy. The entrance is the bathroom. A short flight of stairs leads to the shower and kitchen. Going inside is the bed. Three people can live, but there is basically no room for two large suitcases. Call in advance to contact the check-in time, check-out is self-service like other homestays, and there is basically no one at the front desk. The front desk provides free coffee and tea. There is no elevator. The big suitcases are tiring up and down, but everything else is good. About 20 minutes walk to the bus station
Hotel Marul

This small hotel is ideally located for exploring Diocletian's Palace, the wonderful Old Town and the sea front - all within easy walking distance, as are numerous excellent restaurants. Yet amazingly, it is in a very peaceful and quiet location. It has a small but attractive courtyard garden next to the terrace of the restaurant where we had breakfast and one lunch. It was lovely to be able to sit outdoors to eat under one of the many sunshades. Staff are all very helpful and friendly, especially the hotel manager who treated our youngest grandson with sweets and toys to play with. We had three deluxe rooms, two of which overlooked the courtyard garden and had pleasant balconies. The airconditioning in the rooms (very necessary in the height of summer in Split) was excellent.
