激動的如何形容呢,精彩的Riad

Lately renovated charming Riad located at the heart of Chefchaouen. 5-15min walks to any photo spots or interest spots. The up but also slightly down side is exactly this as well: It’s located at the middle of everything so it’s on the mid-mountain with stairs: Think twice if you are traveling with heavy baggages. The staff are very nice to offer help up and down but it’s still a kinda hard core mini hydrox lol.

Tucked away in the labyrinth alleys of the Medina, Riad Algila transports one into a world of tranquility & elegance. The riad's meticulously adorned courtyard with gentle tricking of water from the fountain, swaying green trees and intricate tile work serves as a peaceful sanctuary from the bustling city outside.
Our 2 day stay was nothing short of enchanting. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, adorned with traditional Moroccan decor with modern amenities, provided a luxurious retreat after a day of exploration. The staff always attentive with insightful recommendations, made all the difference to our stay.
Riad Algila truly embodies the essence of Moroccan hospitality offering a respite of calm and beauty amidst the vibrant tapestry of Fes.

BRAVO! Jamal and his family have transformed their ancestral home into a place that we (and other visitors alike) can call home in Fez. From meeting us at the main road and escorting us through the narrow lanes of the medina, to joyfully serving us breakfast each morning and a sumptuous dinner on our final evening, Jamal and family were super accommodating and friendly.

This is a hidden gem of Fes 😍 we were very well treated and the room is cosy and beautiful. The shower head needs something to hold it in place so water does not splash all around but apart from that everything else was perfect. The night receptionist was amazing to make us some breakfast bags for our early trip the next day, and he helped with a taxi and all. My friend has done the hamman and loved it. Well recommended!

voiletteThe 14th century house, the building itself is very beautiful and amazing. Breakfast is on the top of the building, the scenery is great, and you can see a large area of medina. The room facilities are also good, basically have everything they should. But the old house also has problems. The soundproofing is too poor. There is a room on the second floor that can be heard up and down by the elevator, and the noise in the aisle will be loud. It was already evening on the day of arrival, and when I entered the house, I rushed into the smell of disinfectant water. The biggest breakdown is that there are 4 power jumps in 2 nights. This kind of thing happens in such a house is really scary. When the staff said that this had never happened before, it made people feel even more terrifying. The traffic is fairly convenient, you can park nearby, and you don’t have to drag your luggage for too long. But this location is actually quite far away from the regular old city activity area, and the shortcuts in the old city don't dare to go at night. We wanted to take a taxi on the side of the road at about four or five o'clock. It was difficult to take a taxi. It seemed that the taxis were full of people. Leaving in the morning, I had to take a taxi to the CTM station. Since it is difficult to call a petit taxi at this location during the day, I asked the front desk to help book a private car. It takes about ten minutes and 100dhr. If you know you have been killed, you can only use this method.
The girl at the front desk is very dedicated and feels like she is sitting there day and night. If you have any questions, just ask her, but it makes people feel that pushing dinner and spa is a bit too much, but I don’t say anything if I refuse. Woke up the morning before leaving and helped us pack breakfast.

What made me very unhappy was that on the first morning, I knew that the B&B did not include breakfast, so I had already walked to the street when I ran into the boss, who stopped me and asked me why I didn't have breakfast, ”It's included”. Confirm it's included again and again, and then go back to the B&B for breakfast. As a result, when I left the store, I received an additional bill of 100 dirhams. The boss said it was your breakfast. Isn't the question repeatedly confirmed included? The boss began to use sign language to excuse him from not knowing English, and used Google to translate it into his language, and began to pretend that he was illiterate and unable to read.
I'm very, very, very upset about that. It is not a matter of amount.

Guest UserIf I ever return to Fes, I will definitely stay here again. In contrast to its historic and traditional charm, the rooms were incredibly clean and beautiful. Waking up to nothing but the sound of birds chirping in the morning was a dream.
Every detail of the interior was stunning, and the staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The location is actually much easier to find compared to other accommodations in Fes. However, I did have a bit of trouble finding it at first and unfortunately got scammed by a fake guide—so please be careful! Also, keep in mind that the stairs are quite steep. Aside from those points, my stay was absolutely perfect.

Overall the Riad is good.
The issues we had were the Heater in the room is small and the heater in the bathroom was not working. Safe in the room was spoilt too there wasn't any replacement.
The Royal Suite we stayed in was dark there wasn't sufficient lighting. Mohammed was kind enough to get a standing lamp and place in our room.
Breakfast was so so, just bread, eggs, yoghurt, coffee/tea and orange juice. Not much choice as it is not buffer ans served to us.

My stay in Fez was truly memorable, thanks to the warmth and professionalism of Hager, the manager.
We arrived later than planned, reaching the property at 11 p.m. instead of the expected 9 p.m., yet Hager welcomed us with kindness and patience, making us feel completely at ease despite the late hour. That first impression set the tone for the entire stay.
Hager was also incredibly accommodating with breakfast. She kindly arranged breakfast earlier than the usual start time, and it was a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast — fresh, generous, and beautifully prepared. It was one of the highlights of the stay and a perfect way to start the day.
At the time of leaving Fez, I had arranged my transport independently, but the situation did not go as planned and became stressful. When Hager became aware of this, she went out of her way to help, reassured me, and kindly allowed me to stay at the property during the unexpected delay.
The property is perfectly located in the heart of the medina, offering an authentic Fez experience while remaining peaceful and comfortable. The room was clean, well-maintained, and felt welcoming after long days of exploring.
What truly stood out was the genuine care and hospitality throughout the stay. Hager’s calm, thoughtful, and supportive approach made a real difference and reflects the high standards of this place.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Fez — not just for the location and comfort, but for the exceptional hospitality you’ll experience here.
