Sunny Isles Apartments by MiaRentals

The building was older but they had remodeled and the apartment was very nice. The location was very convenient with restaurants and businesses in walking distance. The beach was just across the street. There is a fee that is added onto the advertised price that you won’t see until you are getting ready to finish your reservation. Make sure you compare it with other accommodations that show their rates up front.

This property is one of the MiaRentals properties which have been a godsend to this newly relocated person to the state of Florida. This is my second stay with MiaRentals and they provide a wonderful service and places to stay for a week or more. Fully furnished. I love these guys.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the MiaRentals apartment. It certainly could have been better. My biggest issue with with the front door not having a working safety bar lock and only a deadbolt that could be open with a code from the outside. The power outlets were old and didn't hold power cords effectively. It also would have been nice to have paper towels in the kitchen. In any case, I would consider staying there again.

We stayed in a studio. We had received several emails from the property owner/manager, for the most part seeing if we wanted to check in earlier in the day for an additional fee. Check-in was at 3pm, at we received the entry codes about 15 minutes prior....coincidentally immediately after I texted them saying we had received no entry instructions. Earlier email said if we didn't get it by 3pm then to contact them. I didn't expect them to send it at the last minute, much less that I'd have to request it. Unclear if the property owner keeps the apartment in this condition or they're in the midst of renovating it. Kitchen looks relatively new, and that was perfectly fine - basic dishes, utensils, glassware, appliances, all good. Sheetrock behind the fridge has masking tape around it, as well as around large boards on the living space walls and ceiling. The sliding barn door on the bathroom doesn't give property privacy because of large gaps at the sides. Toilet paper was provided, but no holder for it (luckily the counter is next to the toilet). Didn't use the towel rack as it looked like it was about to fall out of the wall. Hot water was hot and plentiful water pressure was OK. Sliding door to the terrace very difficult to open and close. The mattress needs replacing - at least that none of the springs popped out despite the sagging and excessive motion of it. The location here was great, but this apartment was not well maintained.

was noisy, not possible to get some rest and sleep. garbage truck coming 6 AM, then renovation starts at 8 AM making a lot of noise right by my window.

The building itself is old but in reasonable condition. The apartment was very clean and renovated. I would recommend it as a very good alternative to the hotels in the area especially when price is considered. It was an excellent value.

The pool was closed in the buildings under construction or upgrading, but it was a great location. People were nice. It was quiet and relaxing. Perfect for a work trip.
