Nestled in an enviable location, this hotel has rightfully earned its popularity among locals. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a team of amiable staff who extended a warm welcome. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, and we highly recommend trying the in-house nasi goreng. The spacious rooms, while lacking in some amenities, were otherwise comfortable. However, we did notice a slight odor of dampness and dust that was slightly unpleasant. One minor quibble we had was with the lighting - the dimming lights were not strong enough to provide sufficient illumination, especially after sunset. Additionally, we were disappointed to find only one pair of slippers provided in the room despite booking for two guests in each of our two rooms. Was this a cost-cutting measure? Our biggest issue arose when we arranged for the hotel's car service to take us to the airport upon departure. The driver first dropped off our parents at the domestic terminal, but it wasn't until later that he informed us of an additional charge to take us to the international terminal - despite the short distance between them. We had already paid a premium for the hotel's chartered car service, and it was disappointing that the driver did not disclose this additional charge upfront. While we understand the importance of profit margins, we believe it's essential to prioritize transparency and honesty with guests. Overall, this hotel was a decent choice for the price we paid. Despite the minor drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the friendly staff and excellent breakfast.

very comfy, i booked for deluxe but there were no room available so my room was upgraded, thanks to the staff for being professional and helpful. breakfast was good and quite lots of choices (western and indonesian) from pancakes, indonesian traditional food, and chinese food like fried rice etc. room was clean but can be cleaner (i found few little insects but that was actually fine for me. overall very recommended and the hotel is located in the center of the city so this one is a plus! 🤩

This new hotel is located on heart of Surabaya city. The hotel is clean, comfort and the hotel staffs is really friendly and helpful. There's a lot of 24hours fastfood chain restaurants, street food vendors and convinience stores around the hotel. It takes only 5 minutes walk to TUNJUNGAN PLAZA (one of the biggest mall in Surabaya) The room is not so spacious but it clean and comfort. Luckily, I got room on 16th floor, so it has a beautiful cityscape of Surabaya too. The food was okey, breakfast buffet has a several choices of local food. And the restaurant looks modern and cozy enough. You will get a lot of smiles from the hotel staffs while you stay. And they very helpful too. And sure, I will be back to this hotel.

Acceptable standard as a HIExpress. Room is average size, bathroom a little small and towels looking a little tired. Got a lousy view though, looking out to a roof with ladder for workers to climb to the water tank. Had to draw the curtain most of the time. Breakfast was better than the usual grab-and-go, which they also provide beside the buffet spread. Customer service from the staff was good. All very polite. Laundry facilities was pay per use. Some meeting rooms available. Easy to call ride hailing.

I was worried when I booked this hotel because the price was so low... I accidentally thought the total price was just the rate for 1 night, then realized it was for 3 nights! I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and new it is. The dinner buffet was tasty and the staff are all very friendly, helpful, and kind. The only issue for me, was that it's not close to any shops, restaurants, or bars, but we all took Grab cars everywhere so it wasn't inconvenient as it's so hot that we didn't want to walk outside anyways. I've stayed at other places before close to a mall, but they were old and even the 5-star hotels had cracked caulk, dirty floors, and black mildew in the bathrooms. I like that this place is clean and the floors are not carpet. Plus, the price for the food in the restaurant is not much more expensive than the nice restaurants in and around the malls.

I know this hotel is quite old but classic and and worth the price. The room is very wide, i like that so much. Bcause nowdays all new hotels is just standart and to small like studio type. This hotel is family friendly, because of the wide room, and al the facility that all we needed. Not that high but the view from the room is still good. Surabayaaaa what else you can see than cityview? Haha. Anyway, very recommended for those who like wide room and near from mall, foodcenter, and all you need.

I stayed here for the first time, the first impression of the reception was quite meticulous. The check-in time only takes 5 minutes, the room is large and clean, there is a deposit box, 2 free bottles of drinking water, toilets, wardrobe, bright lights. It's strange that the elevator is between floors, so if we get a room on the first floor we don't need to take the elevator, because we have to go up the stairs again, so on the next floor. In the room there are snacks, additional mineral water at a price, but the price is not far from the supermarket, reasonable price for the size of the hotel. Breakfast has 3 types of menus and beef sauce that we have to order (free). Breakfast opens from 1:00 to 2am.
