The hotel is situated very near the Chayuanchang Metro and the walking street. It's not far to the places of interest by train or bus. There are lots of shops and eateries around the hotel. The room was large and comfortable, except the room window cannot be opened out for fresh air. There was a small fan in the room to circulate the air. Breakfast spread was good and some of the dishes on the menu changes every day.

The location was amazing, literally right next to Suzhou's most popular shopping street, and around 4mins walk to the train station!
Hotel showed its age but it was maintained pretty well still, with a pretty nice breakfast.

I had a great stay at Hotel Soul with my parents. The location is amazing, right in the middle of the central area - everything is walkable! The decor is interesting, kind of Las Vegas design. The staff are friendly, professional and speak English well. My parents room had a faulty heater but the staff moved them to a bigger room nearby without any hassle. Very good value too - my room was huge! Bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. Will stay again next time I’m in Suzhou!

I have extended from 2 to 5 nights stay. It's very good hotel, the surroundimgs is very vibrant and transportation especially subway is very convenient. Nothimg bad to say, just a bit surprise that seems very quiet and less guest staying, could be in loe season and high competition among nearby hotels

The hotel has good decorations and a very cool modern concept you can see it from the lobby, also with good background music while doing the check in . The check in process was quick, and the service really good. The room was clean and spacious. The location is just some few steps away from 观前街。

Really popular old hotel, lots of people. Staff spoke English (which is not the norm in China). The hotel has a “theme”, not sure which theme it is (😂), but at least is not a copy-paste business hotel. Latin music was playing in the lobby.
Breakfast was surprisingly good. Lots and lots of options. From rabbit candy to pork buns. The best thing is that it is included for free.
The not so good part: room shows the age of the hotel. A bit dusty in some areas, bathroom door didn’t fully close. Leaving a considerable gap. My girlfriend and I had to take turns to use the toilet comfortably, but we were there only one night so it wasn’t a deal breaker.
We got a really really good deal for the one night + breakfast, so I feel that its short comings can be excused.

An interesting stay at this hotel. With a great breakfast.
The interior design was different to most normal hotels, which made it more fun.
One of the lifts even has a design of a space rocket.
Room was big and comfortable.
Only comment would be that the rooms felt a bit stuffy.

All are great except the air-conditioner is central based, we cannot control ourselves, so when we check-in we felt the hot, thank you for the staff to provide a stand fan for it after we feedback. 3mins walking to nearest metro station and 1min walking out the the Guan Qin Street.

Be extra careful when placing a room booking, some rooms has no window and air-conditioning is not working. I have requested for a room upgrade (with window) during my stay (additional cost on top of the booking fee) and yet the room is still warm due to bad air ventilation.

We went in April. Outside temperature is 22C, room temp is almost 28C, but was told since outside is too cold, so there’s no AC available. They could only offer us a fan which doesn’t really do much.

This hotel really knows how to take care of its guests and make them feel at home. The staff - from the front desk to the bar - were all accommodating and very hospitable. When I checked in, the staff membet upgraded my room to one that had a window. That was very a nice touch! The bartender was especially charming, and the food was great! As for the room, I got a bigger room, the bed was comfy, and hot water worked. The atmosphere was super chic with a Sino-French interior design. Finally, I had to check out very early at 6 am to catch the 7:15 am train back home, and the staff member not only welcomed me warmly at this ungodly hour, he was also a little angel by giving me a breakfast bag full of goodies! This hotel has the Midas Touch! Bravo! Well done! I'll definitely come here again when I'm in Suzhou.
