Amazing experience, great service from start to finish. We got picked up from the airport and taken to the office, who stored our luggage. We had a short boat trip to the lodge where we were given lunch then shown to our room. We had a swim in the pool then watched the sunset and went night Cayman searching. We had a delicious tea. The next morning we were up at 4am and left at 5am for a trek through the jungle where we saw monkeys, birds, snakes and lizards. We went on a boat trip round the lake where we saw Caymen , otters and exotic birds. We returned for another delicious lunch and then did a canopy walk. We were taken back to the office by boat and then dropped at our accommodation by mini bus. Nothing was too much, when it was raining the staff brought us plastic bags for our clothes. The guide Ronald was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend this tour 100%

We had a tough time choosing how to get into the Peruvian Amazon with limited info available online but we would absolutely recommend Monte Amazonico Lodge! They arranged everything from complete transfers at each end of our trip, to trips out and food/ accommodation (including catering to vegetarians). Our guide Luis was fantastic at helping us make the most of our trip and somehow spotting every animal out there, day or night, big or small! The lodge itself really surprised us with how comfortable and spacious it was (there's even wifi in the communal area) and the mosquito nets were effective (and necessary!). The 3 night/4 day package was a really good mix of acitivies, nature, and relaxation.

Fernando, our tour guide, was great and informative. The sleeping arrangements were surprisingly nice and the whole lodge area is very clean and well kept. The activities themselves are pretty nice but some of them are slightly too long and dragged out. However, the schedule is prefectly made

Our recent Amazon rainforest adventure was incredible, and a huge part of that was thanks to our fantastic tour guide, Fernando. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the rainforest ecosystem, its plants and animals, and the indigenous cultures of the region. He shared his passion and expertise in a way that was both engaging and informative. Fernando was also attentive to our needs and made sure we had a safe and enjoyable experience throughout the entire tour. He was personable, friendly, and always willing to answer our questions. We can't recommend Fernando highly enough! Highly Recommend! I wish the place had Air Conditioning or fans though.

I had a great time here in the jungle with our Tour Guide Fernando. He knows every animal here and we were so lucky to see a lot of them because of his great skills. Spectacular was how he caught the kaimans out of the water. Also the Carlos expeditions lodge is a real nice and special place with a good kitchen as well. Definitely can recommend this.

We spent 4 days and three nights at the lodge. During the whole time, we were looked after and had resources there for us. We had the best time with our guide Fernando. Very experienced and thoughtful guide. He had a lot of information about both wildlife and plants/fruits. He mafe us taste/touch/see anything we wanted during our tours. His patience and dedication was showing throughout the whole trip: he caught tarantulas, caimans and spotted an incredible variety of species during our stay. Thank you Fernando, you're a legend.

Fernando was very friendly and knowledgeable about the jungle. The lodges were comfortable, the beds were good annd mosquito nets provided. The food was good and the WiFi was also very good but only available in the main lodge . I really enjoyed my time on the activities with Fernando :)

Did the Sandoval Lake/Macaw Clay Lick Tour for 3D/2N and can only recommend it. My guides Luís and Fernando were very helpful and knowledgeable and did everything to ensure a great experience. Saw a lot of wildlife and the place is just beautiful. The lodges were clean and the food was amazing as well 😊

I have spent 3 days in the lodge and done all the activities. Our guide Fernando was very approachable, knowledgeably. Je looked after our group well. The meals were delicious and all the staff were friendly and made sure our stay here was relaxing and memorable. I really enjoyed my time in this paradise by the river.
