Very nice of the hotel to fetch us from Tendo station, their email replies are very prompt too! This hotel is probably the tallest and biggest in Tendo. They help to make the bed too! Amazing buffet breakfast and Kaiseki dinner which I didn’t expect it! The view from the room is spectacular! Just one question is that not sure the 2kg rice that they gave us was expired haha but quite cute of a gift however too heavy for travellers! Overall love my stay here, beyond my expectations!

The Tendo Hotel is very good. When traveling in Yamagata Prefecture, although Yamagata Prefecture's Ginzan Hot Spring is more famous, it is difficult to book. One day I chose Tendo for the hot spring bath. The services and facilities of Tendo Hotel are very good, and the Yamagata beef sukiyaki for dinner is also delicious. Because I drove here from Haneda Airport and wanted to find an intermediate stop, I chose Tendo City. The water in Tendo City is calm after 6 o'clock. If I take a photo and eat at the hotel, I don't know what to eat, but the food quality in the hotel is too poor.

It was a perfect check-in experience starting from the hotel shuttle bus. The view and equipment of the hotel are amazing, and the bathing environment is also very clean. I would like to stay in this hotel again.

My tatami room with view was very clean, cozy ang comfortable. The onsen also very good, expecially the female outside onsen with a pool and waterfall scene, so relax.
Hotel provide subttle between Tendo Station.
Breakfast quite nice with almost japanese style breakfast buffet. Recommend this hotel for anyone plan to have short stay to Tendo, especially who is planning to Ginsan Onsen銀山溫泉

I stayed Yamagata for ski. I booked a room for family of 4. The tendo hotel is good in service. The concierge is helpful. The staffs are friendly. The Onsen is good and the open bath is amazing. The breakfast is buffet styles. The dinner is traditional japanese kaiseki style which is delicious and wonderful. The price is much more reasonable than staying in Zao or obanazawa which are too famous and overpriced. If you want to stay in Yamagata in between Zao and Obanazawa. I think Tendo hotel is really a good choice!

We stay at this hotel for visiting Ginsan Onsen. There is complimentary shuttle service at the train station ( delicious meal at the station ) . The staff are courteous and helpful. The room is large and Japanese style and the onsen is beautiful . There is lots of good restaurant around and convenience store too. Local snack and drink will be welcoming you and the morning breakfast is a must. Food are so authentic and delicious. I ate the most delicious chicken meat there. The view from the room will take your breath away !! The toilet in the reception is the best toilet I have been to in Japan !! ( sorry for photo as I forgot /to take ). Thanks for reading my review. Tendo Hotel is a very good hotel. It has a comfortable hot spring and well-equipped facilities. There is a van to stay at and return to Tendo Station. An English-speaking staff is very attentive to help 12 of us. The food for breakfast and dinner is rich and delicious. I will stay here again next time I go to Tendo. Thank you😊

For a small town everything about this hotel was EXCELLENT. The room was outstanding - spacious and very comfortable unlike some Tokyo hotels. Staff was very warm and helpful. They were able to accommodate everyone for breakfast in their large ballroom and food was awesome.
