A last minute booking to Tignes, and wanting a hotel close to the slopes and with a pool this was perfect. Parking at the hotel was €20 per night. The rooms are abit of a maze to find, especially if you’re in B block. You need to switch floors and elevators! First day we were struggling to get to the right part of the hotel. Rooms were really spacious, great view of the mountain. Plenty of storage space. Breakfast was good. Didn’t have to queue or wait, food was plentiful and overall a very good selection. Staff all very nice and friendly. I Only small annoyance that for 3 days the table outside our room seemed to be a dumping ground for other guests plates, glasses and left over food. For a 4* hotel, this should have been cleared immediately. Don’t expect to keep returning every afternoon to see more and more crockery dumped.

I had a lovely week at the Montana in Tignes. The hotel is really well situated for skiing in ski out especially on the Almes run so if you are a beginner to intermediate it’s really good and really handy. Stayed in room 512 which a great view on the resort and the pool. Swimming pool was lovely really enjoyed a dip with the kids after being on the slopes all day, the hotel itself is looking a little bit tired. I don’t think it would take much to update it and make it even better than it is now. I would return in the future but would probably prefer to stay somewhere a little bit modern and up to date. Ps sledges, the hotel have some and the boys loved sledging at night right by the hotel. Was great fun!

Sadly this hotel has gone downhill since my last visit perhaps some 5 + years ago. The breakfast selection was large, but the hot food was not hot ever, eggs were sadly beyond the chefs ability somehow…scrambled eggs were cold wet mush..the fried eggs were still watery and cold too…First night arrival food was poor, so much so I changed the restaurant selection the rest of the week. That said we did in there twice more and it was good food on both occasions. The carpet I think in the hallway on the second floor Had a sour smell…not what I’d expect for the high price I paid. Room was nice, the twin bed set up I’d asked for was not prepared for us on night one, I had to await to night two to have this rectified. Bar area was nice and staff in hotel were all good. The specialist restaurants doing the fondues etc were first class.. prepare to be full…

Great staff, pool could be a few degrees warmer and hot tub. Other than that everything was perfect. All the staff in dining room, front desk, bar, were very accommodating and kind. Steaks were very rare for me and the rest of the ski group.

The rooms were quite dusty and not good for my allergy. The service at the bar by Neetesh was MORE then EXCELLENT. Neetesh is very customer oriented and making the holiday unforgettable! Thank you Neetesh. The skiservice was also very good. The breakfast was very massive and not supplied that regularly. Probably many people of the appartments are enyoing the breakfast as the spa does. We have come here more then 10 years and it has been good but now too massive.

Good location. Great views. Ski-in / ski- out. Nice spa facilities. Variety of accommodation choices from single to couples to groups. Pleasant staff. Attention to food service especially for groups can be improved.

Overall the Hotel was good, reasonable size rooms, great breakfast and good location to the slopes. Our only complaint concerned the dinners on the half board menu. The food was really not that great and there wasnt much choice

Everything was great, very friendly and helpful staff, super dinner menu for the half-board, spacious room. The kids loved the swimming pool. And we really appreciated and profited from the ski-in/ski-out location of the hotel. We will definitely repeat the experience
