pick up was not possible. no food whatsoever to be able to get at 11 pm - apparently whole kitchen closed - not even fruit or cheese were possible, absolutely nothing. only drinks at the bar, but no snacks. when asking for room service breakfast they wanted me to bring the card down even though it was only 11.30 as apparently night shift does not do rounds as in other hotels. no help with carrying luggage. apart from that staff friendly enough - sea view rooms quite nice - but SEEHUS has much more pretty views and from there you can watch the sun set from your room, not quite as pretty here in direct comparison - also the coastline is so much more crowded and unpeaceful compared to the passage in front of SEEHUS - if you re looking for more life, this is better, but if you re looking for remoteness the other one - here you hear loud music at 1 a.m. !!!!! not sure where it s coming from - not the hotel itself...

This Hotel is definitely the best place at Timmendorfer Strand. Breathtaking views, spacious rooms, good service. Grand Hotel , the name speaks for itself. This time the pools were not available due to renovation and Corona restrictions. Prices therefore still very high, but the location a bit more towards Niendorf, which is a bit more quiet is the best. The Restaurant and food is on a very high standard. Beach is just on your doorstep.

Ein Grand Hotel ohne Akzeptanz der American Express Karte konnte ich mir bisher nicht vorstellen. Es fehlt der direkte Zugang zur Tiefgarage und es fehlt eine Rampe für Rollstuhlfahrer. Demzufolge müssen auch Rollkoffer beim Ein- und Auschecken über mehrere Treppenstufen getragen werden. Der Kofferservice ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, aber leider nicht täglich vor Ort.

Wie immer eine schöne Zeit im Hotel verbracht. Die Lage ist natürlich unschlagbar. Sehr nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Leider kommt die Einrichtung in die Jahre z.B. die Duschabtrennung und für ein Hotel dieser Klasse sollten die Handtücher nicht so dünn und augewaschen sein.

Die Lage direkt an der Seebrücke und der Blick aus den Zimmern sind einfach fantastisch. Wir hatten zu viert mit zwei jugendlichen Kindern eine Suite, die für unsere Bedürfnisse perfekt war. Die Kinder hatten ihren eigenen Raum. Das Badezimmer war komplett renoviert und auf dem neuesten Standard, das trifft allerdings noch nicht für alle Zimmer zu. Möblierung und Ausstattung sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Relativ hellhörig, Geräusche aus anderen Zimmern haben sich recht deutlich übertragen. Sehr schöner Lobby- und Restaurantbereich, tolles Frühstücksbuffet, ebenfalls mit Blick auf das Meer. Spa und Fitnessbereich sehr schön und hell.

Grundsätzlich ist das Hotel sehr schön, an manchen Stellen etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Es ist sehr hellhörig, die Zimmertür schließt nicht dicht ab, größere Spalten. Für die Preisklasse erwarten wir im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels im Bad auch Haarwäsche und einen vernünftigen Föhn. 😉Die Tiefgarageneinfahrt ist sehr eng für größere FZG, da kamen einige ins Schwitzen.(Felgen) Wenn man den Bordstein abrunden würde, wäre es für Felgen besser. 😉

Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal, geräumige Zimmer mit geschmackvoller Ausstattung. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Toller Ausblick im Ruhebereich der Pool-Area. Akkustik im Zimmer etwas ungünstig. Zu wenig Liegen im Saunabereich und nur eine Saune mit mehr als 60 Grad Temparatur.
