My boss was visiting trichy, i suggested staying at ramyas. Since i stayed there once earlier changing from our routine hotel. I had a decent experience. When he tried to checkin he requested extended checkout . The attendant very rudely replied and told him the He should not have used makemytrip to book if he needed such hospitality service of extended checkout. Since he used makemytrip they are unable to help. If we had approached the hotel directly they would have helped. THEN WHY IS THE PROPERTY LISTED ON MMT? Most unfortunate thing is when my boss was walking out of the hotel due to the rude behavior, they didnt try to stop him. After this, i spoke to thier ***ager Mr. Bharani. And told him that a guest has walked put of your hotel at 11:30 at night, there is no bigger insult to a hotel than a guest who has given them quite some business in the last month HAVING TO LEAVE AT MIDNIGHT. to search for another room. While Mr. Bharani was clearly upset that i called him on phone near midnight. I tried to impress upon him that a guest has WALKED OUT of your hotel at midnight. While he was ready to accomodate the guest who has paid money, as if he is doing a Favor, he was still telling me that i booked through makemytrip instead of them directly. While i did try to convey the stature of the guest, and told him that he is losing a valuable customer. He asked me not to blackmail Him at midnight. Since i said i will complain to tourism department, his response to that was "its fine" Unfortunately i will not and cannot recommend staying with them since the last word of the ***ager on the call were "its fine" Even a hotel having good rooms but miserable hospitality is bound to fail. If not fail their star rating will never grow. But fortunately Ramyas is not looking for growth as they are sending away volume customers at night ONE LINE REVIEW "A CUSTOMER HAD TO WALK OUT OF THEIR RECEPTION AT 11 PM. AND THEY DIDNT EVEN TRY TO BE HOSPITABLE."
