Best location and friendly staff. Nearby, there are a lot of restaurants and convenience stores.

There was a bit of smell in the washroom. But, overall it's an enjoyable experience!

My flight was canceled due to typhoon and the hotel refused to cancel my reservation. I did not spend any time in the hotel.

Superb location just beside Ikebukuro Station where you are spoilt for choices for food and shopping :) Just a little noisy due to trains running late into the night else all good :)

Awesome location.

It was very conveniently located right in front of Ikebukuro Station. I was able to sleep soundly without being bothered by the hustle and bustle of the city (maybe because I was in a room on the upper floors?). The Showa retro feel was quite relaxing. I'd like to use it again.

It is very close to the subway entrance. The room is relatively large in Japan, but the window soundproofing is poor. If you don't have good sleep quality, you will be woken up by the sound of the subway.

However, the only drawback is that there are not many choices of restaurants nearby. But I will still consider staying there next time I go to Tokyo.
