Blue Dreams Resort

Pros: The resort was really nice and the staff were really friendly! Additionally, there was a large selection of food and drinks to choose from, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The facilities were also amazing. There is access to a private beach, with many sun loungers and multiple separate deck areas too (if you don’t prefer somewhere sandy!). The entertainment team are sure to host many events nightly also, so there is plenty to do on sight such as: live music, darts competitions, bingo etc. Cons: In terms of the rooms overall cleanliness, it was clear to see that there were numerous water marks and stains on the cabinets, mirrors and in the bathroom. When housekeeping would arrive, it would seem as though they were only replacing bed linen and re-stocking towels (as opposed to vacuuming, mopping or wiping surfaces). On another note, one member of the entertainment staff (Hilal) was overly flirtatious and inappropriate (towards my partner) - both of which made my boyfriend and I extremely uncomfortable. So if you’re planning on travelling here as a couple, probably take note of this and be conscious of your surroundings.

great service, the non-alcoholic drinks were great, colorful, delicious. I recommend the entire service. everyone makes sure you feel good here. Food all day long, various cuisines, delicious taste. The men from the pool bar create miracles. ( best regards For Hasan Haktan zarina and Devrim)

Had a lovely experience, all of the reps were very sociable. Beautiful views and clean hotel. The food was delicious and they had different themed nights. The evening entertainment was great with fantastic live music. Animation team made the nights more enjoyable.

It was a really clean hotel and we were met with smiles from everyone who works here. The views are immaculate and the food was lovely - the selection of meats was great! There is evening entertainment every night which keeps you occupied and the 24 hour bar by reception keeps the drinks flowing as long as necessary to maximise the experience. 10/10 would recommend !!

I went to this hotel for the first time, I came with family and was really good, the entertainment staff where great throughout the whole day, providing different types of entertainment, the was a wide selection of food choices catering for everybody, there were activities such as darts, water polo and air soft throughout the day which entertainment staff encouraged guests to get involved with. - Booked for our honeymoon - The air conditioning in our room did not work. As we checked in a man was also complaining about his air conditioning unit leaking. I’d seen other reviews about this and had hoped they were ‘one off’s’ - can confirm they are not. - We reported this to reception four times during our stay. It was never fixed and continued to pump out hot air, we were never offered the opportunity to move rooms and reception continually hung up on my husband when he called to ask if it could be fixed or if we could have a fan. - On average, each night it was 33-36 degrees in our room. Both me and my husband were sick during our stay because of the heat in our room - A19. Reception were well aware of the situation and did nothing until one evening I asked if we could have a fan. Staff were rude and laughed at me when I said the problems with our room had ruined our honeymoon. - After an hour they switched us to a different room. The air con worked for an hour before we were re-awoken to a flooded floor - the unit was leaking. We were due to check out later that day and we’re pleased to leave. - There is no ATM on site, so bring plenty of cash with you or withdraw some if you get a taxi to bodrum centre during your stay (15 minutes away). A lot of the extras ie. Water sports, spa either urge you to/only accept cash. - There are no ‘do not disturb’ tags on the room doors, housekeeping will knock and let themselves in with their keys within 10 seconds - I’ve also seen this be said on other reviews. - The extras, ie the spa, and photographers are pushy and expensive. We booked into the spa for a couples massage and were quickly told we’d need a range of other treatments - medical massages, which would cost an extra €300. We’d just spent €200. We spoke to other guests who were told the exact same thing, with prices ranging from €300-€800. In the UK the average price of a massage is £68-£75 each for one hour. My husbands massage was fine but mine left me with bruised arms and generally feeling worse. - The photography price list starts at €400 and they are insistent that you buy a full album, however, you can buy prints from €12 each. We did this and we’re happy with the ones we got - they tend to target couples and young families. - There is no rep at the hotel so if you have problems such as our air conditioning issues - you are on your own and things won’t be fixed. Staff tell you anything to appease you and get you to leave - whether it’s true or not. - The boat trip we went on as part of EMS organised through the hotel was good, but it didn’t take us to all of the stops advertised (didn’t go to Karaada) and we were asked to get on a shuttle transfer back to the hotel from a different port. - The food is good, particularly the A La Carte restaurants, although service can be slow. - This is not a 5 star resort. We had the best holiday there! Food was great, the view is amazing!! Live music really great . I know some people complaining about staff don’t speak good English, but if you go to their country so please learn a few words in other language or please don’t complain. Also all inclusive it was much better than other hotels. They have many fridges with water , sprite, Pepsi and Fanta. Other hotels usually have only bottles of water.
