The Belmont

3 of us, couple and teenage son, stayed for two nights. Abby really helpful and communicative before and during our stay. Lovely breakfast, nice big room. Could possibly do with double glazing as there is some noise from the road. Makes a great base for exploring the coast and the moors. We may well return!

Had a great stay at the Belmont, the hosts Abi and Andy are very welcoming and freindly and made my wife and I, and our dog, feel most at home. Our room, was well presented, very clean and tidy, and had all one would expect to make for a comfortable and enjoyable stay and I can recommend their full English which sets you up for the day. The location is well situated for access to the beach and town centre, which are within easy walking distance from The Belmont. We can very much recommend as a place to stay in Torquay and we would certainly stay there again should we return to the resort.

We been in this amazing place before but this year we went a bit differently as we traveled as a complete family (with our little Son and our doggie) the Belmont is always amazing place to relax and enjoy the close beach many more doggie friendly places there and also Abi and Andy are still incredible caring people who is really looking after they guests the food and the tidiness is always 5* travelling with very little child is always hard but I didn’t felt anything in here since we entered to the building;) We will definitely go back again soon;) and I highly recommend to visit the Belmont😃

What a superb stay at The Belmont Hotel in Torquay, I had the room right at the top of the hotel, self contained, very comfortable, there was even an Alexa. Breakfast was included and was a delight to come down to in the morning. Also Abi and Andy couldn’t do enough make our stay as nice as possible.

My friend and I had a week staying at The Belmont with our little dogs. We both really enjoyed it. Abi and Andy were so welcoming and would do anything for you. It was spotlessly clean and a lovely Breakfast every morning to look forward to. Would have no hesitation in stopping here again in the future.

We come to the Belmont for 5 days.Friendly staff nice breakfast clean room and dog friendly.We felt like in our own home.Definitely we come back if we in the area.Thank you so much and see you next year

Had an excellent stay at The Belmont Hotel. The suite we stayed in was spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble for Abi and Andy. Wonderful hosts, breakfast was lovely, Abi does a fab poached egg.

We had a lovely three night stay. Excellent hosts. Breakfasts were wonderful with lots of choice. Room very clean and comfortable with tea& coffee facilities provided. Good to have the fridge in the room and the fans also.Definitely a good place to stay. Would recommend.

We had a lovely stay for 2 nights with our small dog. The room was a lovely spacious size and the tea and coffee making facilities were great - and we had fresh baked biscuits on arrival! There was a fridge in the room which had some fresh milk but also gave us somewhere to keep the dog food chilled in the warm weather. The bed was great, very comfy with good pillows, fans were also provided (and needed!) to keep cool! Toiletries and towels were provided which meant we could keep luggage to a minimum to travel by train. The cooked breakfast was amazing! The only issue we had was the shower, but this could have been user error - but there was a note provided about the water due to it being a Victorian building - if we stayed longer we would have probably asked for help or figured it out!!! We will definitely recommend and hopefully be back one day.
