Ali on reception is lovely very welcoming and friendly always happy to help with anything or anything and also the manager Shazly very friendly and welcoming and very helpful love staying at this hotel and can’t wait to come back for new year weekend see you again soon kirsty and ry

Iv given this dump 1 star purely because there was no option to give it zero stars! I’d rather stay at hotel Cortez from the series American horror stories! The room was filthy, the bed was broken and the bedding was stained and had ***** on it, there was old crusty poo next to the toilet, dirty brown finger marks on the bed frame, the drawer were falling apart, there was no hot water, I had to run the bath for 10 mins before hot water come through, the receptionist said she didn’t know if she could give me a clean towel when I asked for one, the hotel was full of dodgy people and I felt very uncomfortable. Avoid this hotel! It should be condemned! And it smelt rank and mouldy!

Looks like a crack den! Passed a few ******* on the way in. Waited 30 mins for someone to Arrive to let us in. It was like a horror hotel. If we had stayed I think our car would have been vandalised or we would have been killed in our sleep. We saw the hotel room up and left.

During our arrival on the 25th of August, we arrived at 11pm. To be greeted by no parking spaces being available. We had to park literally a mile away from the hotel. During our 3 day stay we was unable to get any parking at anytime. When one of the staff opened the door the first thing we saw was a hole in the wall. He promptly left. We went into the bathroom to see the bath tub side hanging off. Later on we went to use the desk lights in to which we noticed was hanging off the wall, a fire hazard and electrocution hazard mind you. During our 3 day stay we never got any clean towels, never had our bin emptied and never saw any staff as apparently they are only there from 9pm till 2am or something silly like that, so we was unable to voice our concerns. We were also unable to have our window or door open due to the smell of **** being smoked in the room next to us. The hallway absolutely reeked of it and they were hot nights to not have the door or windows open. In total we were shocked by how poor this hotel room was

The worst hotel I have ever been in. Room really dirty, kettle dirty, squeaky bed, squeaky floorboards, moths and Flys galore. The whole vibe of place was awful and depressing. Place needs a big big upgrade on everything.

Very old and dated bed could do with being changed very old not comfortable at all

The most filthiest place I've ever stayed. The carpets were disgustingly filthy. There was bogies wiped up the walls. The beds were very uncomfortable, I could feel every spring in it, the double bed was two divans put together. There was rips in the divan bases. The bunk bed steps were attached with a rope to secure them. The dresser was full of scratched paint. One of the sockets was burnt. The balcony area was full of broken glass. It was very noisy due to workmen refurbishing it. No bar as advertised. The shower wasn't accessable due to the temperature being scolding hot with no change despite trying to turn to cold. Hotel management were less than useless and not helpful at all, we asked for extra pillows and he never brought them, he also told us maintenance would look at the shower but they never turned up. The only helpful person was the young lad who was on reception at night time, we asked for extra pillows and within and few minutes he knocked on the door with them.

This is without doubt the worst hotel I have ever experienced. Upon arrival the reception area, stairs, doors and hallways weren’t just dirty they were filthy with years of dirt and grime. Our room was possible the saddest place on earth, windows hooked open with a chain, the tea and coffee making facilities were takeaway cups and a wooden stirrer which weren’t replenished throughout our stay (we went to the supermarket to buy our own cups, spoons, milk, tea and coffee). We were provided with 3 towels between 4 of us for our stay. We asked for more on the second day and given 2. The grime in the bathroom was so bad that none of us wanted to use it. The water took approximately 10 minutes to warm up, the shower being a tap attachment, filthy grout, ceiling and walls covered in mould and peeling paint. There was no hairdryer despite this being advertised in the facilities, when we asked the front desk twice they never got back to us so we had to go out and buy one. Throughout the night guests (possibly long term residents) gathered outside chatting and laughing as though it was the middle of the day. It stank very strongly of **** and smoke. Lots of people just milling about the halls which was unusual since there are no communal areas, no breakfast or food facilities, no bar or seating areas. We walked around the front of the building which looked nothing like the advertised picture…..windows were smashed and boarded up, completely overgrown with rubbish and broken glass everywhere. It was a truly terrible experience. We tried to book ourselves in elsewhere but being August everywhere locally was fully booked so we had to ride it out. It needs to be condemned and shut down.

Booked a room with sea views ( that was its saving grace ) for 3 of us as going to see a show at Princess Theatre. Bad points .. no towels provided as stated and no hairdryer. No bathmat and water pressure on shower very low and very dated decor. Carpets although in good condition the carpet grippers were not secured properly and screws were sticking up enough to cause damage to bare feet. Kettle and base did not match although it did work. The sachets of milk were out of date. Hotel in need of a good clean and a refurb. Only 2 plug sockets in room . Good points.... Room was a decent size . Water was hot. Sea views were lovely. Beds were fairly comfortable and hotel in a good location for going to shops, bars and theatre. Free WiFi with a good signal. Limited parking . We paid £10 for our one nights stay . Friendly staff on checking in but when handing keys in not as friendly . No customer care and no apologies for not having towels supplied even though we phoned several times. All in all a cheap stay and you get what you pay for but probably wouldn't stay again and would pay a bit more for a better quality hotel . Thank goodness we bought our own towels 😳🤦‍♀️
