Coco Hacienda Tulum - Adults Only

Our first visit to Tulum , we travelled from the UK . We decided to stay in town as the beach was so expensive . The location of hotel was great . Only a short walk or taxi journey to local bars and restaurants . I like yoga, and it was easy to bike ride to holistika for classes. The only downside is taxis to the beach were expensive. Hiring the bikes from the hotel was also a little pricy at around £15 per day . We loved the hotel , we had a bigger garden room which was great with tropical birds and jungle vibe right outside our room . Breakfast was lovely, and we enjoyed relaxing at the pool after busy days exploring the cenotes . The staff were amazing and helpful and could not have asked for a better experience. Would definitely book again .

The Coco Hacienda family has cared for us during 10+ visits over the last two years. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. They’ve made this our home away from home and treat us like family. You will not find a better piece of paradise in town! Incredible value is a bonus. The rooms are charming, expansive and comfortable. Their bathrooms and pools will make you feel you are at a luxury spa. Wonderful food and drinks at their Hell Yeah restaurant; served with love and attention. The staff is SO ATTENTIVE and will work extremely hard to make your every wish during your visit become reality. Lose yourselves in a calm and recharging paradise in a most strategic and convenient location. We now live in a new home in Tulum but will continue to visit to eat and lounge poolside or enjoy a snack and drink with the wonderful people that are the staff of Coco Hacienda.

Very pleased with this hotel - Big spacious room/bathroom with smart tv and good air con - Breakfast wasn’t a buffet it was hot and cold drink, toast, fruit and granola and eggs with toast, you where given them all one by one , all were tasty and filling - Located on the end of the main road, lots of bars/restaurants located within 10 minute stroll, couldn’t really hear the main road from the hotel - Booked our Chichén itza tour with reception, they were very helpful - Can get to the beach via taxi or cycle, wouldn’t recommend walking it’s over an hour, we had a leisurely cycle which took 20 minutes on a cycle path, bikes available to rent at the hotel or all along the main road. Lots of places to lock up the bikes on the beach for free

We had an amazing few days at Coco Hacienda. The hotel is beautiful with a very cool aesthetic and very friendly staff. I let the hotel manager know that I was planning to propose to my partner while we were in Tulum and they went above and beyond my expectations in ensuring we had the perfect weekend. We enjoyed the spending time by the pool, the delicious breakfasts and the spotlessly clean rooms. Thanks again to the Coco Hacienda team for making our time in Tulum so special.

I decided to celebrate my birthday here and it was the best decision ever! The Staff where so friendly and professional, the site is beautiful, and the rooms are amazing and wonderfully unique. The food in the adjacent restaurant so fresh and delicious and the chief is a genius! Thank you to all the Staff for being so accommodating and warm to all of my invited birthday guests. Mr. Chris you are a superstar !!!! A short ride to the Tulum ruins, the beach, cenotes, or the fantastic Mystika Museum. This place is worth the price, and location, and most of all the service :) Gracias por mi revivificación :)

We stayed at the Coco Hacienda for a week as part of our honeymoon trip. It seems like most guests stay for around 2-3 nights but if we had only booked a few nights, we would certainly want to stay longer! It's a very small hotel so the team are able to reach out to you before the trip to check if you need any special assistance, which is a nice personal touch. They helped us with booking transfers to and from Cancun airport, which I appreciated as I was a little worried about this part (being my first time in Mexico). When we arrived, we learnt that the second pool was unavailable due to construction work which I was a initially disappointed about in case the main pool was busier but I needn't worry as there was hardly anyone there and my friends/family asked if it was a private pool after seeing photos! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and full of plants/wildlife and the food was really nice (they provide breakfast daily and we had lunch there a couple of times too). The rooms are as they appear in photos... Spacious and clean, with a large bed, air conditioning and ours had a big bathtub (they supply bath salts, bubble bath, shampoo, conditioner etc). The only downside that I must comment on is that, due to the straw type roof, it is very noisy in the room because the hotel is located just off the main road. I don't think this would be ideal for those who struggle to sleep in noisier conditions but they do supply earplugs and I must say that I did get used to it after a couple of nights. The only other downside was that there was no fridge in the room so we couldn't bring back beers from the shop or keep our water cold. In the absence of a room fridge, I think the hotel should at least keep chilled bottled water in the reception area for guests as the only other option if you run out of water is to go to the nearest shop or pharmacy. Location was good and all shops, bars and restaurants were walkable from the hotel (about 10 minutes or so to get to the main part of town) but the beach is not nearby. We rented bicycles from the hotel but it took about 25-30 mins to cycle to the beach which was guarded by restaurants and beach clubs. Seemed like the sea was full of sea**** too so we just turned around and cycled back again. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. The staff were all very helpful and attentive and I would recommend to anyone wanting to explore Tulum or just catch some sun and relax!

My experience at coco hacienda was a nightmare. The housekeeper stole my money from my bag and the hotel manager Christopher did nothing. The hotel has bugs (roaches, spiders just crawling on you while you sleep bathroom was hot

Enjoyed our 4 night stay. Pool area was a relaxing space. Breakfast was a nice inclusion. Staff were friendly and helpful. Special mention to Louis the masseuse in the zen zone for a thorough and well needed massage. Worth the price. Thank you

Beautiful oasis on the edge of the downtown area. We spent 4 nights in January. The staff was very friendly and helpful ( Filipe our server deserves special attention) and food at restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. Our room was beautiful, spacious with an oversized ornate bathroom. A 2 minute walk to a really great Mexican seafood restaurant (El Camelo) that is very reasonably priced.
