Hotels near Udon Thani, Udon Thani

In a barren city that is Udon Thani (compared to Bkk, Chiang Mai etc), this appears to be one of the newest and freshest hotel in the city. Place was generally clean, appears newly furnished with contemporary look and feel.

The same as all the 4 star hotels in Bangkok but usually it’s much cheaper here so far better value. Room is perfect can’t complain

It was the good experience staying at Centara Udonthani! The room was clean. The bed, mattress was so cozy! The staff were helpful with smiling! The facilities were good. There is hot tub for male and female at 5th floor The price is cheaper when u book through Centara Website. Even though I redeemed the code from Trip.com, the price at Centara website is still cheaper 🙂 I wish I could visit the hotel again

The hotel is a modern hotel, not long ago since inaugurated. Large reception and with friendly and competent receptionists. This very comfortable room with opaque gardens and a very pleasant shower room. All very clean. Excellent breakfast and very varied. All was very comfortable and from returning to Udon Thani we will return to Civilize Hotel.

The cheapest and coolest in this area, near the largest food market in Udon Thani, near the train station, near UD Town, near Bus Terminal 1, three cars can walk without taking a car. Very suitable for travelers #In front of the building, if you don't notice, you will not know that this shophouse is a hotel and don't be shocked like us. I think it's not open or It's even deserted, haha, really secret. # As shown in the picture The room is good, feels like at home. There is a kitchen and common area shared, storing and washing by yourself, quiet, not busy. Safe access to and out the key card There is a parking lot in front of the shared. The rooms / bathroom / shower room are clean, there are both shared and private options. Look good. But we choose a private bedroom, shared bathroom.

This was my second stay at this hotel. The standard rooms are basic, no frills, but a very good value. Included are wardrobe (with safe box), desk, large bed (average comfort), fridge, modern TV, small but functional bathroom, and a balcony with sink. There is no kettle in the standard room, but in the lobby they have a kettle and sell nescafe, quick noodles, water, beer, etc. Wifi was average, cut out a few times. Daytime staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful! Location is outstanding, a short walk to Central Plaza and two night markets, and many food, bar, and massage options are steps away. There are washing machines in the car park area, which came in handy. It is true, as some have pointed out, that the loudspeakers (9AM-9PM) from Central Plaza are annoying, but with the door shut and AC on, it's a minor issue. I plan to return here for my next visit. 

After 4 hour drive we were pleased to arrive to the hotel where we have stayed before. The quality of the rooms is excellent and the staff at the front desk charming and helpful. However having decided to eat in the restaurant we were very disappointed. Our food came out very slowly, and rice did not arrive for 20 minutes after the main courses did. 2 orders didn’t arrive at all. Then when one did it was wrong and then again it arrived wrong. This was at least 90 minutes after us first ordering. Completely spoilt our evening before going for a walk for which we were too late and before a long following day to work for the charity which we support. We’re very sad and frustrated.

I selected to stay at this hotel again after my last time to stay here was a great experience. Unfortunately, today is not a good experience and I think I won’t come back and I do not recommend this hotel to my friend too. I was checked in at 1.00 pm. The front staff informed me that normal they allow to check in at 2.00 pm but today she will allow me to check in early. Unfortunately, after a few minutes she informed me that she has to change to room due to the room that gave to me has a problem about the toilet. Fortunately, that I did not unpack my bag yet. The excited and bad experience happened after I slept since 21.00 pm. I had to woke up since 23.00 pm due to the guest at room 310 making a loud noise al the time. I tried my best to be patient with it. Then at 00.10 am. I had to work up again from the noise from room 310. Then I made a call to night front office staff to inform 310 for decreasing their voice. However, till 00.25 am the room 310 still made a loud noise thus I called to the front staff again, but the noise was not decrease. That means the night staff did not know how to manage the guest who disturb other and did not know how to solve the problem. This is very bad that the staff allow another guest to disturb the resting time of other guests. Then the staff did not know how to solve the problem for me. I have to manage the loud noise by myself which turn on TV with the maximum noise at 100 due to I already work up and can’t not sleep anymore. I have to work up at night and can’t not sleep any more due to the poor training and unprofessional staff that don’t know how to manage the situation with noisy customers. I could not imagine in case it has an incident happen at this hotel how could the staff help and assist the customers. If you would like to stay in a nice hotel and proper professional handling of customer service, I think Brown House Hotel is not the right place to stay. I would not recommend this hotel to my friend and this will be my last time to stay her.

Great location. Rooms very nice but need proper cleaning. Top shelf of our wardrobe full of dust and fluff. Obviously not cleaned in a long time. Breakfast very poor. Anything supposed to be hot wasn't. Cold sausages. Cold ham. Cold eggs. Disappointning.

Let’s start with why l went here in the 1st place and that was because of the GYM. I was on a mission to work on my health and fitness. Was the GYM worth going too? This GYM at 9D Hotel is exceptionally good with excellent, well maintained equipment. There are 3 Floors to this gym with scheduled workout activities on the top floor along with a basketball court which was a real bonus as it’s been years since lve shot some hoops. To access the gym you will have to get an arm band at reception. The pool area is adequate and your kids will love it. Now onto the rooms = my room was on the 3rd floor with pool views. Extremely spacious,clean, with a huge comfortable bed and the bathroom was of excellent size also which had large shower gels, shampoos and conditioners. Buffet breakfast l found to be sufficient with a decent selection and staff were great. On saying this the buffet seemed to be the same everyday during my stay which wasn’t a deal breaker. So all in all and the above was fantastic. Now to the negatives = Cafe downstairs was never open once during my stay. This hotel is quite a distance from the centre of town so l hired a motorbike for my stay from happy motorbike & Car Rental which is situated opposite Central Udon. Cafe downstairs was never open once during my stay.
