Very friendly and helpful service, wonderful pool

Amazing stay at the H2O hotel. Room very comfortable and clean. Varied breakfast with gastronomic products from the region. Pools with heated water, with several jets! I recommend!

Excellent hotel, with pools and spa great for relaxing

Great hotel that should have a rating above 5 stars!!! Everything's good. Rooms, living and leisure areas, decoration, wonderful breakfast, meals in the restaurant and bar, friendly staff, not to mention the spectacular Aquadome complex .We highly recommend it!!

We liked the facillities, the room, the services, the breakfast, and the staff. There was a lack of supervision/control of some facilities, notably in the sauna, where no one below 16 could enter, but children went in anyway.

The pools were nice and the architecture is spectacular. However, don't expect to eat there because the food is terrible, the service deplorable, and the ambiance is fine if you like eating in a noisy daycare centre. Management seems non-existent. Check your bill carefully, because items were added that were offered to apologise for the bad food when we complained. We didn't expect these items to be charged to our bill!

We stayed here one night on 8/18 and it was great. The research that I have done payed off handsomely. This place is a gem. The hotel is large,.modern, and the people who work there are friendly and seem wanting to help. My wife and I spent time in the pools, got massages in the spa and enjoyed the wonderful cusine.

We stayed here because we heard that the spa was interesting. And it is -it's presented in a fun way with caves and pools and very good saunas, steam rooms and showers, though it has more of a fun holiday atmosphere than a truly restorative 'serious' Spa. We stayed at the hotel and the room was comfortable. Most if the staff were friendly, and the quality of the food was great, the buffet breakfast deserves a special mention because there is EVERYTHING on offer - really excellent. Tarnishing the experience a bit was the fact that we met one waiter who essentially flounced off because we said we couldn't speak Portuguese, and could be heard mockingly (and quite loudly) echoing us by saying 'we don't speak Portuguese' to his colleague. The colleague then dutifully came over and served us very politely and pleasantly in English, but we were left feeling a bit unwanted and out of place to be honest -its simply nit feasible to speak every language! So, a bit of a mixed bag but definitely worth a try if you're in the area.

Bring the family for the "spa", come for dinner, but do not stay over. This is NOT a Congress NOR Medical Spa Hotel. Expect running kids, jumping in all pools and be loud. More like something between Butlins and Centre Parks. The receptionists are dreadfully trained and so is the supervisor. There is never a director available... we were given a room smelling of cigarettes right at the door entrance, when mentioned the answer was they couldn't force people to smoke outside and that the room wasn't duly inspected; yet no apology. Covid safety is mis-aligned. Sometimes very strict such as no papers nor signatures except if you order drinks at the bar then you owe to sign the bill (only place they ask). They check people's temperature at breakfast in the restaurant, but not at check in to the hotel nor so called Spa. Breakfast at a "Medical Spa" for this place constitutes a bunch of cakes, pancakes and viennoiserie, full english breakfast, 2 fruit options and 3 juice options... On the positive side, the receptionists at the spa were really good, polite and attentive. The hotel reception could learn a great deal from them! We also paid ahead of time €40 for both of us as half-pension (meaning dinner). Great staff and really good food. At €270+ the night for a double room you would expect the service to be impeccable and the promise to be stop on.

First is the quality of the staff, everyone is trying to make the experience the best possible. The landscape is beautiful and should be unforgettable if you have the luck to visit the hotel with snow. The swimming pools are very good, mainly the possibility to use outside swimming pool with hot water. The massages, rituals, sauna and other activities makes the hotel a perfect place to relax. The restaurant has very good food, with a balanced diversity to assure that satisfies all the types of customers (and I think is possible to inform during the check-in any special requirement that we could have). The only point that makes me not give a perfect score was the breakfast that should have much more options of fruit and juices, even I could understand that the preference is to use local products but on January the use of local fruit is very poor.

Everything met expectations, great breakfast, electrical charging available and free, but with one small exception: the room with a bathtub. This is no longer justified in hotels of this class, as it makes access difficult for those who already have some mobility problems.

Friendly staff always willing to help all guests, from reception to entertainment and cleaning service. Very large and welcoming spaces, always with beautiful ambient music. The rooms are always tidy, with the necessary conditions for a peaceful and restful night. It is also important to highlight the conditions of the swimming pools and gym and the variety of activities that are offered to all customers, both adults and children.

Simply wonderful, I recommend it at any time of year, but in the middle of winter the hot water pools are unforgettable, as is the entire surrounding area of ​​the hotel. To return often as a family, couple or with friends

I enjoyed the experience so much the first time, that I returned again and it won't be the last time. The place is fantastic, the rooms are spacious, the food is very good (but small quantities :)), the friendliness of the staff and, best of all... the swimming pools. It's a super relaxing experience that I highly recommend. But it's not cheap!
