Aparthotel Goldey

The view from the rooms are spectacular - you can see the mountains, the town and the river right off the balcony. The breakfast was delicious, local meat and cheeses with some fruit, eggs, pastries and drinks. The staff was VERY friendly. The rooms were spacious and clean. It’s a short walk (15 minutes) from the train station and a little less to the main part of town, but it’s all very pretty and scenic. Also, easy access up to Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Murren, Grindelwald and Jungfraujoch, etc. We would absolutely stay here again!

Outstanding view of the river, town and mountains! Very friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms and tasty local breakfast. Would highly recommend and would stay here again if we visit the area again!

Everything is good except that it is kinda tiring for our big family of 9 with young kids to lug 9 big luggages to walk to apartment from train station during arrival and check out. Otherwise , it is perfect as It provides full facilities very suitable for family. The view from room is excelelnt. Get to see mountain and lake.

I had given up writing reviews in the past few years but a lovely stay has made me pick up the digital pen again. It began well with a beautiful walk along the river to the hotel from the station. Add a very friendly and welcoming Bettina and Sven who were efficient and helpful. And the apartment itself equipped with all amenities for a comfortable stay and spotlessly clean. Incl fans and WiFi for which some reviewers had criticised earlier. But what really took my breath away was the view from our apartment - garden, river and a totally snow covered mountain. And the tranquility. We just loved walking around there. The best in Interlaken by a distance. Certainly the best view in all my stays. Having said that please keep a few things in mind :- A) There is a railway line just next door. I am a light sleeper but I slept soundly after closing the windows. Helps that I was tired everyday after a 12-14 hr excursion. B) Bedroom doors didnt have locks. Atleast the master bedroom should have one. C) We didnt need any intermediate/daily cleaning. And the towel change after 3 days turned out to be fine too. There is a small area to hang clothes to dry. D) And finally, the owners requested us to book directly with them thru their website. This was my second visit to Interlaken in 2 yrs and i stayed on the main street earlier. I would stay with team Goldey definitely when I visit again!! :)

Wonderful location, many stores and restaurants. convenient to both train stations. staff helpful in providing direction in arranging an excursion. Rooms were clean and quiet. The Swiss don’t under-feed you so heating up leftovers from the night before in a microwave would be the only suggestion that i would make. If you’re thinking about saving a few francs by dragging your luggage..better be in good shape. $20 chf for a cab…we’ll worth it.

All positives for this hotel. Very friendly host and staff, always offering advice and changing towels etc when needed. The location was outstanding, the prettiest place that we’ve ever stayed at. Rooms were Beautiful, very clean and well equipped. Balcony in lounge and both bedrooms, and the view was amazing from our room ( 102) . Very central for transport , shops, restaurants etc. it was lovely and quiet in the hotel , no problems at all. We just wished that we’d spent more than four nights. We all had a wonderful time.

What a lovely place to stay in Interlaken. Between two train stations on the Aare River. Very quiet location. Sven and his wife made us feel so welcome. Our apartment had a fantastic view of the mountains WiFi was excellent. Can"t wait to come back. The laundry room was a nice bonus,
