OYO 35844 Hotel Lotus Residency

WARNING - one of the worst hotels in Sangli. Dont go there by mistake or looking at the photos on the web site. I went there with my wife and booked the suite room on the second floor. The bedsheet was dirty and stained and so was the Dovet cover. No service available. Next morning we called for tea at 7.30 am. The intercom was not working. We had to dial a number which was written on the wall. They said kitchen in closed and opens only at 8 am. At 8.15 am we got tea which was cold and bad in quality which we flushed in the toilet. The warm water was pathetic and slow. We could not use the shower due to pressure and had to make do with a bucket. We got ready and enquired where to have breakfast since we had paid extra for it. We were informed that we have to go to the top floor. ALAS the lift was not working and we are senior citizens. We somehow climed one staircase and got to the restaurant but they said you have to climb one more floor since the breakfast is on the terrace. When we enquired what was the menu they said only Sandwich for vegetarians and omletted for non veg. We were shocked that they had charged for a full breakfast and giving only one dish. It was too much and we said we dont want the breakfast or anything to do with the hotel. We checked out and went outside for breakfast. DONT EVER GO TO THIS HOTEL - EVEN BY MISTAKE
