Bedroom was smart and clean, and a moderate size. The Bar area and seating by the River were smart and comfortable, with lovely view Advertised parking, but the parking was ONLY ad-hoc, and we had to park over 500 metres away in a side street. We booked and paid for a room with a Bath, but could only have one if we paid a premium. Without any notification the bar shut at 8.30pm on the Sunday. Whilst we were playing cards in the guest's lounge, around 9.15/30pm suddenly the lights were turned off, and when we challenged the staff as to why, we were told they had to be turned off when the staff left the building, and should we wish to continue talking and playing cards, we should go to our bedroom !!!! We tried very politely to explain that this just wasn't acceptable, but the 'Senior' member of staff (Jade) became very rude and objectionable, and simply wasn't interested in our comments. Until this establishment carries out a performance review of the staff, implements some customer service training, and amends/improves its current working practices we would never recommend staying at this hotel to anyone.
